We started our street food tour in Izmir at the Kemeraltı Çarşısı, where we had a very delicious breakfast with fish soup and chickpeas and tripe stew. This local restaurant sells dishes I've never seen before.

To continue our street food tour in Izmir, we went to an old joint to try one of the specialties of this city, Kumru. They take it to the next level because of the high-quality ingredients that never changed with the years and also the passion of the owner.

In this street food tour in Izmir, I couldn't miss the famous dessert, Kazandibi.

Moving on with our street food tour in Izmir, we went to eat a very local specialty that surprised me a lot for flavour and taste.

To have a little break and continue our street food tour in Izmir, we went to have Turkish coffee at a very cute coffee shop inside the Kemeraltı Çarşısı.

To continue our street food tour in Izmir, Turkey, we definitely had to eat some fish at a local shop next to the fish market. This is just food heaven!!
For dinner, we went to eat a dish that became very popular in Izmir thanks to this shop and the owner, Manisa kebab.

Hahhahaa.. adamım, kahvaltı diye yediğin yemeklere bayılıyorum. Hadi ben Çukurovalıyım, alışığım.. ciğer, çorba, tantuni, kebap, et, kelle vs.. bunları kahvaltı olarak yeriz biz.. ama bir İtalyan olarak senin bunları deneyip yemen çok keyifli... 😃

Zero odor for head meat is amazing, and layers of spices on meat, or layered meat with spices; most of the time, we see pot of oil frying falafels, this time it's fish, should be less effort than falafels, yet there must be mastery behind just frying battered fish... the food is beautiful, the city walk is beautiful too. Hey, Max my friend. Again a very delicious video :D I am so happy for u. u have now tried dishes I've never had before :))). The Kumru you have eaten had the real Kumru bread. The special about this bread is that it's not fermented with yeast but it's fermented with chickpeas. But the best Kumru you get in Çeşme Dalyan köy, Ilıca and Alaçatı.
