Good video, im getting a pair for my free roam setup. I'd suggest showing clips of the abronia roaming, eating, drinking etc while youre speaking. It'd make the video a bit more interesting and entertaining.

Thank you so much. Everybody else online just gives anxiety about these creatures rather than are informative and trustworthy in people taking care of them. They have some maintenance but that’s something you’re getting into before you buy it and everybody knows that‘ so thank you for being so helpful.

Good video! I am preparing to get a pair of these because 1. they look so cool! and 2. I would want them to breed, hopefully! However, this would be my first time breeding a reptile. What do you do with all the babies? Did you sell them directly or did you contact pet stores? I feel like I've got a pretty good outline of every step of my abronia journey except that last little bit. Of course, any I couldn't sell/give away I would keep. I'd just rather not show up on some animal hoarding show with a house full of hundreds of abronia XD

What do you think, is 1 male enough for 2 or 3 females? I want to keep my Abronia in a group. I know that many do not keep their Abronia in groups. But I want to see the animals in my large living room terrarium. What do you think, can a man only couple one woman or two women and more? Or are there problems with aggression between 2 women during pregnancy?

anywhere from 8-12 hours depending on time of year. they are usually on a timer.

if you can make sure they have the right heat during winter im sure they can, the main thing i would worry about is finding them here. i havent looked myself but ive never heard of them being bred here.

there are other cage builds out there if you wish for wide, not tall . Yet , you need height for certain types of lizards . Arborial types

Abronia Graminea are Arboreal reptiles, meaning their natural environment is in the tops of trees. A vertical enclosure is recomended, stocked with plenty of branches and perches to climb on. Babies can be kept in a horizontal tank for a month or two, but should be transfered to a vertical enclosure as soon as they can reliably hunt for themselves.

What humidity is best for them?

60-80% is what I see most. You don't want a *wet* enclosure though, it can cause them to die, especially if young. If it's in a glass enclosure, I'd recommend one nice and large spray down every 2-3 days. If daily, it'll hold too much humidity/water. If it's in a mesh enclosure, do a slightly lighter but daily misting. Don't mist several times a day, the change in humidity is good for them(from what I've heard). Just mist the one time in the morning, and maybe a very light misting closer to nighttime. It's also recommend to choose spots to be more wet than others(in a corner or in a hide, for example). That way, the abronia has a choice to which wet spot they will lick moisture from and rest in.

no sure way unless you get two females (two males would fight). Not sure why you wouldn't want more tho!

Keep the temps 70 to 80..... They might help... if temps don't change
