Try cleaning all four ABS sensors first before replacing any of the sensors to get rid of the ABS SERVICE REQUIRED warning.

My Lancer has both engine check and ABS Required Service's light. Mechanic told me upon diagnose with OBD tool that all the 4 sensor at wheel were ok...should I DIY clean the sensors as per this video? Tq

Mechanic should have been able to pinpoint the cause based on fault codes. This DIY is meant as an alternative to replacing the wheel sensors, if the fault codes indicate failed wheel sensor.

I will try this to on my 2008 Lancer, since i have same issue, but my fear is that the ABS/ASC pump might be a goner : /

Im in the same boat with my 2009 Lancer.I was told yesterday it would be $1800 to fix which i think is putrid.

Does not fix it on this vehicle as the diagnostics indicate a fault with the ABS pump. If it indicates a fault with one of the wheel speed sensors, then cleaning the sensor may solve the issue, instead of replacing the sensor.
