How did you solve this issue?

@theinfinitesol I replaced the wheel speed sensor. After scanning it it said the wheel speed sensor was faulty. More than likely the harness. When you make a sharp turn the harness is put under strain

@sanders197655 the part itself is I think 65 70 bucks from ford but you would need to have it scanned after recreating the problem. I just had to turn the wheels all the way to the left. Then when all the lights came on I scanned the abs system and it told me which one it was. Each wheel has one then if you do it yourself it relatively cheap only need an 8mm wrench and unplug ut

The lights on my dash go on too but only for a minute or two then go off, do they need to be on to use the scanner?

Yes. The problem has to be diagnosed with the codes. Could be as simple as the wheel speed sensors. Could also be total or nearing total failure of the ABS module itself. Many different things could be happening. ​@@dg7843

@@laitha.8547 That makes sense. Usually if any steering controls are out with a SRS airbag light on , no horny etc. Most likely to be a clock spring /spiral cable faulty.

Hi, I actually fixed the problem some time ago I'm sorry I never really even posted it and I just got a lot of things going. Plus right now the transmission failed so I'm in the process of having that done. The actual problem to be honest with you for me was the left front tone ring which is the hub assembly. The best thing I could tell you, is to see if you could find someone with scan tool that can read ABS codes. I was getting a code for the left front sensor which I replaced in the problem still persisted and I checked it again and it gave me a tone ring code yeah on those cars the tone ring is not on the axle anymore, it's actually in the hub assembly so like what are the hub assembly a cheap one from autoshack.com just to see if it'll solve the problem and once I replace that I was good to go again. Put on some of those cars they had a service bulletin for broken wires/pinch wires on the harness side of the abs sensors . I checked mine, there were ok .

First thing you want to do is check for ABS codes

Yes , actually a few weeks ago. I assumed it was an abs sensor so I replaced all 4 from Rock Auto. It was under 100 bucks. But that didn't fix the problem . Then I had an additional problem. That was now the electronic park brakes had a problem. But to make a long story short. For some reason the rear Abs sensors were faulty . I picked the right parts . Rock Auto refunded me . Park brake issue fixed but still had abs fault. I had to use my friends Abs scan tool I had a code c1130 or c130 ,well anyway related to drivers front tone wheel code so I replaced the drivers front wheel bearing asy , seemed like it solved the problem but guess what , it was back. I ohmed out the old abs sensors they all were 6ohms of resistance so what I did was swapped out the new left front abs sensor for the old sensor and the problem was fixed. So problem for me was really a faulty abs tone wheel which is part of the wheel bearing asy. Best bet for you is to check for abs codes first . Don't jump the gun like me . Also a lot of these 2013 Fusions had problems with the abs sensor harness on the body side, breaking especially the left front I believe but I check mine and it was fine . Do you know what abs codes you have?

@@laitha.8547 Sorry for the late reply. All my steering wheel functions were working ok and turn signals , horn is working ok.

Yeah it goes away temporally only. Mine comes back on if steering wheel goes all the way left or brake pedal starts tripping and it’ll activate it

@@singhharpreet9176 I haven’t yet. This is something recent. I’m thinking it could be a wheel sensor or something to do with bad brake or rotors from the back since I replaced the front ones. A mechanic couldn’t figure it out but he had suggested replacing the clock spring in the steering wheel but I don’t think that’s the issue. Wbu?
