John Paglinawan wrong. it was the shape of her face that fitted the category of the mwo that won her the crown plus the mwo owed the philippines that crown in 1973 when the morley couple did not give the crown to evangeline pacual after marjorie wallace was dethroned. look at the shapes of the faces of gibaltar and china and young, all the same so ur assertion was wrong.

Megan Young was crowned in part because she was a titleholder from the Philippines' new Miss World franchise holder. If she came from Binibining she wouldn't have a chance because she would not be the actual pageant "winner"....that is how petty Julia Morley is.

I hope that Kuya Boy Abunda will be consistent in a way he dress up as a host of the show. Most of the time he dressed up inapproprietly. Can somebody or someone show him the proper way to wear proper attire to look professional. Thanks. I hope he will take it constructively.

Miss World is now a REALITY SHOW and Megan is a veteran of two reality shows, so she knew exactly how to play the role given to her, which to take what has already been bagged. We are happy she won. But she is ain't a VENUS RAJ, a Shamcey Supsup, or Janine Tagonon. Mas maganda si Megan, but she doesn't have the REGAL beauty queen X factor of a Venus Raj, who veteran of hundreds of pageants. She didn't have that Miriam Quiambao awesomeness....

Being regal is in the eye of those who look at someone. I find Megan regal, sophisticated and classy. They're all different and I can say I love Megan more than those you have mentioned but nonetheless, I am proud of them all.

well Megan is prettier, she is a mestiza, even if she wont wear make up. But there are millions of white girls in Switzerland and Norway, there are few Venus Raj and Mary Jean Lastimosa, who can beat a Latina with proper styling and training.

+Federico Baena I beg to disagree. Citizenship is not based solely on parentage. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova of Canada was born in Russia. She has Russian parents, yet she represented Canada and became Canada's second Miss Universe. Similarly, having "Caucasian" or western looks does not decide one's citizenship.
