Agreed. I don't even read War of the Realms this time. But Absolute Carnage is interesting because the story of Venom got bigger in the Cates run, with Knull, the Grendel symbiote, the return of The Maker. Carnage wanting to eat all the codexes from everybody who wore a symbiote to be powerful and reconnect with Knull (and probably kill him, becoming the new symbiote hive mind) it's interesting.

That's what I love about the OG Phoenix Saga. Written over the course of four years, that story initially wrote itself. No pressure to make the story a huge event. It led itself into it. As cool as this upcoming Absolute Carnage is, I miss the days when we didn't need to have a big event every month or so. Such things were rare and felt like Christmas time. Nowadays it's a matter of asking when and what the next big thing is going to be

Marvel Animated movies usually suck, not Marvel's fault but they don't have access to great artists. Though there is Sony Pictures Animations, which made Spiderverse, but they only have the rights to Spiderman related characters. Plus they seem to want to expand the Spiderverse instead of doing something like DC, who has all of Warner Brothers Animation helping it. Maybe with the new Disney streaming service they might try that, but right now they're just doing bad movies like Punisher and Iron Man, or Iron Man and the Hulk or bad to mediocre shows like the new Spiderman show

@@SuperPaez I know what you mean, dont forget marvel started their detailed animated movie before DC, so when they did it, I was great at the time, but then DC came with better stories and as you said, animation, but you'd think marvel would of reached the same standards as DC by now, and gave us something cool, their avengers and spiderman TV shows started off very well
