@@Paxdad5 I’m on the fence with this one. Sprinters today are made, and they use every trick in the book to reach these times. SAFP often runs slow races until championships approach, then she wins big time. Evelyn was just plain FAST, and it wasn’t technical or trained. Imagine if Evelyn had the advanced training, etc., that SAFP has...I think she would’ve actually been faster. Either way, I adore them both.

+Noah Glomski. I hope the world record set by Florence will be broken, but I am afraid that record will stay for many more years. 10.64 is an incredible fast time, but she is still 0.15 second behind the world record. She would have been around 1.3 meters behind Florence, and 1.3 meters is a huge margin at top level 100 meter sprint. You also have to remember that Shelly is 34 years old now, and I am pretty sure that she can't get 0.15 seconds faster. Maybe she can run at 10. 58 before her running career is over. Just maybe

If track is fast 10.60 shelly will win the others will be fighting for second and third. There is not an athlete I av so much faith in more than her to deliver when it matters the most, she and bolt did exactly that. Now pple are maybe stressed out abt this time wondering what is going to happen at the Olympics with dem. Now they need to scrap that stupid world record and let ShellyAnn get her rights of being the fastest woman in the world. God bless jamaican people 1more time we little but we tallawah

I ACTUALLY use to hate on Flo Jo bcz of the unbelievable record she set. But wen I saw the video on this channel I respected her come up an determination so I dont think they should scrap her record. She deserves her glory. whether she did it using drugs can only be speculated. But respect her achievement is my viewpoint. She even took time off to raise her child. This was a real woman and mother who did that. Btw I'm Jamaican.

I'm not buying it. That was a personal best for Shelly but shes not running that time ever again. Richardson is consistent at 10.72. I love Shelly Ann by the way but her personal best was 10.72 10 years ago. She had a child too. I'm not buying it that she runs under 10.72 again. @@pound4pound380 plz go check ur facts her pb was 10.70 she and elaine had the same pb until today. She left and ran 10.6 plz I I dnt want to hear the Richardson thing rn shelly is the most consistent 100m sprinter over the past 10years so if Richardson ran couple 10.7s that does not mean she is up there, she needs to talk to ShellyAnn about consistency. U pple dnt knw 1 hell wat u are talking abt. From Richardson got beaten I have not seen her from that. Meh. It’s the 300m hurdles . Just like when SMU broke the 300m wr. It’s cool. But those times don’t generate as much excitement as the other official races. He’ll get his due when he eventually breaks the 400m hurdle record.
@Elliottklassen
@Elliottklassen 3 жыл бұрын
@@andrewryan9087 He’s also made plenty of videos on less impressive feats than the 33.26. It was crazy when Warholm broke the record last year by 0.7 seconds, but it’s absolutely unbelievable how he beat that by another 0.52 this year. Last year he put together the best series of 400mH performances in history. If he’s in 0.52 seconds faster kinda form, it’s hard to imagine what he might accomplish this year.

It took me a while to notice but she is running taller and her trail leg is little bit shorter. Comparing her 2019 and 2013 race runs you can see the subtle change in form. With regards to who can match her? Still to early to say because everyone is still rounding into form but it's the usual suspects like Elaine and possibly Shaccari although she may have peaked already. If there is a favorable following wind of at least 1m/s the time should be 10.61 or 10.60 which would break the Olympic record of 10.62 and beat Flo jo second fastest legal time of 10.61.
