About This Video
Absorption spectrum for chlorophylls indicates that absorption is maximum in blue and
red parts of the spectrum, two absorption peaks being at around 430 nm and 670 nm respectively.
Absorption peaks of carotenoids are diferent from those of chlorophylls.
Diferent wavelengths are not only diferently absorbed by photosynthetic pigments but are also
diferently efective in photosynthesis. Graph showing relative efectiveness of diferent wavelengths
(colours) of light in driving photosynthesis is called
action spectrum of photosynthesis

Sir in our book it is written that in absorption spectrum the valley is narrower but you write here that valley in absorption spectrum is wide it is not cleared I think you say opposite plz cnfrm it ?
