What if the scale reading is in increasing order(i. e, d3>d2>d1)..... Then the signs of the constants change.. Does it cause error in calculation....,as per the equations u showed.? Maybe u have to put modulus value for crct explanation of these equations..... Idk🤔.... Can u pls tell ur reference... It would be better if it was mentioned.....😊

Basically it is a specification of a spectrometer, definition ethanu...." The Hartsmann's constant ,which is a function of the optics of your spectrometer, has been measured by the technicians for each spectrometer and is marked on the side of the spectrometer."
