After three abstract acrylic paintings, which I created with rust and patina effects, it is time for a cheerful and colourful painting in my favourite technique, the squeegee technique. I use a square canvas for this as well as two different large smoothing trowels, which serve as my squeegee tools. Gerhard Richter, a great German painter, who used various techniques in painting during his life, gradually came to abstract painting and also to the abstract squeegee technique. For this he used squeegees made especially for him. My abstract acrylic painting with the squeegee technique represents my interpretation of this wonderful technique of acrylic painting, I would never put myself on the same level as Gerhard Richter.
