abstract acrylic painting with brush, palette knife and color shaper. I used the palette knife to layer the acrylics, what creates the lovely textures. The brush is used for the smooth blending and the "color shaper" to add some nice marks at the end.
Acrylic paint on canvas (40x40cm)

Great painting !!!! I'm soooo glad to see you back !!! That was a long 2 months of missing watching you create your beautiful art. I love your style I hope all is well & I look forward to seeing your next video !!! Thanks for sharing. Oh if you don't mind me asking what type of flat / shading brush are you using ( if that's even the correct name of the type of brush) lol . I normally do paint pouring but am so ready to start doing abstract . I just finished my first one but started out with something easy & simple but after buying all the different brushes that I wanted I totally forgot to get a flat brush so i just used a regular house trim brush but didnt like how it left stroke marks so i ended up doing a few thin layers letting each one dry before doing the next & I kept a spray bottle of water handy to spritz the canvas when needed but anyway if you could recommend a good flat brush I would really appreciate it . 😉😉😉😉

I'm loving yourwork and videos. Can I ask how you control black when doing the brush strokes after the palette knife work. I find any black or the darkest colour takes over in the brush stokes... any tips to help.

Your technique and style is beautiful and although I realise you don't upload to your KZfaq channel anymore I hope you still see comments. I just wondered what your preferred way of protecting/finishing your canvases is, do you spray varnish, resin or leave them as they are please?

Your art is so inspiring for me as a beginner...however you don't let us know what colors you use and explain the tools. Like what is a color shaper? I also notice you don't post very often for me to continue to watch and learn. This is very disappointing....but I don love your work.
