there is a gas relief valve in the event that the battery overcharges or short-circuits. This way you damage the valve. You are a danger to human life

El problema es volver a cargarlas , el líquido sale y destroza todo que toca . O sea , lo que aconsejas es malo en todos los sentidos . Para la salud , para el material y todo lo que puedas usar con esas baterías. Como todas las baterías, hay una vida útil, no hay ningún invento para devolver vida "aun" . Hay chapuzas como las que haces tú, pero tiene consecuencias malignas....

You punctured to much the battery...you need to just apply small pressure till the popped off coil will touch again the positive so can make the connection again...to do this you need to have multimeter attached to battery and then apply small pressure like in video till you see voltage goin up doin this you'll not puncture the battery and the lichid wont leak

Eso es verdad porque cuando se poncha se le sale el aire que por tanto tiempo y carga se acumulo al poncharla se desactiva una tapita que ya dentro que actua como desyuntor pero al poncharla y se cargan se les sale el liquido que ya dentro y oueen dañar tu piel o aparatos

Any risks associated with venting a lithium battery? I just vented 6 that wouldn't charge with a battery or power supply, it worked.

Reconnecting the bulged out pressure safety layer to the anode inside the battery. I also did a video on this myself some time ago where I used a dart.

safer way is connect then to a 6v motorcycle charger for 20 seconds then check voltage and repete if needed..ive brought back dozens of 18650 cells from zero volts to full again

Tried with a battery and a power supply, nothing worked until the 18650 was vented.
