I made it a point to explain to my Salvadoran relatives who haven't been living in the US that long and didn't get to finish high school back home: 1. Don't get too freaked about stores running out of sanitizer. All the research says that soap is better or at least equivalent for killing germs, as long as you wash your hands the recommended way. Sanitizer really is just for those of us who are lazy & impatient (yes, I'm one of those) or when you're somewhere that soap and water isn't practical. 2. Bottled water really isn't necessary, either. Dallas water is safe and there's nothing about this pandemic that threatens it. People are more used to thinking of bottled water is better even when it's not, and also it's a good thing to stock up on in natural disasters, so they get confused and think that applies here.

My Abuela gave me 30 dollars worth of sanitizer, like 2 gallons- , lots of toilet paper, and 10 masks each for family member, 💀 She also gave us like a bunch of oranges, vitamins, etc, I was horrified.

@Jenny Lorenzo, I always say that you outdo yourself with every subsequent video. What I do not say is that I AM surprised that you do. Frankly, I AM not surprised that your videos are ALWAYS better than the previous one. You gave so many people a much-needed laugh, along with a much-needed reality check. Seeing Michi's mother (Flor, right?) freak the frick out regarding seeing a can of Corona beer was beyond priceless, and seeing Maruchi telling her daughter Laritza that the old and the weak need extra special care, then seeing ABUELA looking anything but old and weak; all of this was BEYOND PRICELESS!! I know it's my Latin culture when every single point shown in this script is the norm for me growing up, but I died when I saw abuelita and the Vicks.
