I am between vegan and vegetarian right now because sometimes I do miss eating some cheese. When my friend from California, I now live in Philly, we were going to vegan restaurants, she gave the same look as everyone did in the table. LOL! It was a hard transition for her, definitely an acquired taste! But I’m happy she was open to trying vegan food.

I mean, that’s how we first met all the tías in the Christmas party episode a while back, right? The vegan food reveal part is too accurate lmao! I gave my mom a vegan chicken patty once and when she took a bite she said it was good, but as soon as I said it was meatless she became *dramatically “ill”* and almost vomited 💀 and to this day my grandma still doesn’t know what vegetarian/veganism is even after explaining. She’ll ask me things like “¿Y se come pescado? No? 👀 Y Pollo? NOO SE COME POLLOOO?!? CONYO SU MADRE!!”

¡Oye prima! It is a crime that the industry hasn't given you a Netflix show or something like that. You are sooo talented and entertaining. I really want your career to "blow up" more than it already has because you deserve it. Your work is super good and you are a great representer of the complexity of not only the cubano experience but the latino/a experience in the US. Oh man, Flor, Benito, and Abuela reacting to Michi's lipstick is basically exactly what happened when I was a tween and decided I wanted to wear shorts that hit above mid-thigh... Mom absolutely refused, dad bought me a pair, and grandma just reminded me to study so I could go to university 🤷♀️
