Where is the best place to live in Abuja Nigeria? where is the best place to buy a house and land in Abuja Nigeria? where is the best place to raise a family in Abuja Nigeria. Where is the calmest neighborhood in Abuja Nigeria? Where do the rich live in Abuja Nigeria? If these are your question, your answer is Katampe extension and Guzape district.
Katampe extension and Guzape are Abuja Nigeria's new and best districts people prefer to live or build houses. If you are looking for a good place to buy a house or live in Abuja choose katampe extension or Guzape. These places in Abuja are really beautiful, although is a developing district in Abuja Nigeria.
Abuja Nigeria is a well-planned city, with lots of great work and plays life balance.
This is a road drive showing you Abuja's new district called katampe
Katampe has a hilly topography just like Guzape.

Guzape has that early years Wuse 2 feel in the late 90s and 2000s, a blend and balance of residential and commercial (churches, shopping centers/plazas, restaurants/fast foods, banks, schools, e.t.c). Though Wuse 2 is now heavily commercialized and no longer advisable to live due to lack of privacy and traffic noise...your neighbor could be a business! Back then, even though Asokoro and Maitama were the prime districts, Wuse 2 was preferred by many for proximity to amenities yet with nice houses. Thanks for capturing a mini estate I've been dying to see the the aerial view at 11:20

I'm not even going to get into the issue about the White People, who're born in South Africa and have possecion of over 90% of their motherland, yet it's Nigerians they feel threatened by.

We have fiber internet in Guzape, I use "Legend" but, I'm not sure how wide spread it is. Guzape is dominated by Snr Civil servants and retired Force personnel. Ya, renting from an agent will jack up the cost to 7 mill like you mentioned avoid that if possible. If you want to rent, first find out about the other people that live in the compound because living with an influential person even retired in the same compound just for 3 years can set your children up for good connections.

You are very passionate about what you do. I hope your subscribers are sharing your videos (I'm doing just that) enough to boost traffic on your page. We need to support our own. That said, I have noticed that as much as great developments are springing up in ABJ, there is problem of maintenance culture and it irks me. I have noticed paved roads are not properly marked, dusty roads everywhere, illegal lay-by kiosks/vendors operating at free-will, poorly dressed individuals hawking with items on their heads and or stepping on well pruned lawns/grasses while walking; all of which make these highly developed neighbourhoods tacky and less appealing to the eye. Honestly, Nigeria is struggling to manage human traffic. Developers should include side roads for pedestrians and bicycle lanes to their projects. It makes the neighbourhoods more organised, creates less clutter and eases traffic on our roads. I just want to see a quiet tranquil environment properly managed liked what we see in high-end suburbs in Sandhurst, Houghton, Hyde Park and Westcliff, SA. We have the resources to do just that.
@DavidNkwa
@DavidNkwa 2 жыл бұрын
True. We are not there yet but will are making progress. I think with the new districts the FCT is are looking to create most of these suggestions like the walk and bicycle lanes are part of the plan. Most high-end estates also have a good lawn and bicycle lanes. And I must say thank you for watching, commenting and sharing the video

Nigerians are one of the warmest people in the whole world. We do not discriminate among people, be you white, Hispanic, Indian etc. However, the only issue I think you might have in Nigeria is the weather; it's mostly warm and moist in the Southern region, and hot and dry in the Northern region (which Abuja falls under). Nigeria is really evolving in terms of infrastructural development, technology, tourism and lot more. The cost of living for a working class in Abuja is quite affordable, though some low income earners may view it as expensive, but if you are earning well, it should be ok for you. I hope this helps you! Feel free to contact me anytime you are around.

Try getting into Real Estate in Nigeria and you soon realize that the industry is shrouded in nothing but scamishyness, crookedness and dishonesty. From developers using incompetent professionals who don't know what they're doing to erect buildings, to building cosmetic homes looking like the bricks were stacked upon one another by toddlers, but at the end, the whole shabby job is plastered and painted to look as attractive as an ugly face hidden under heavy makeup. Most of the land upon which the apartments are built are not registered in the name of the developer who's building on the land. But they'll tell you all sorts of lies to decive you. This could spell future legal problems between you, the purchaser of the apartment and the land owner, because by law, the owner of the land is entitled to everything on the land. So do your due diligence using competent lawyers before paying for any kind of property. It's definitely a tough place to buy or get involved in Real Estate, particularly in Abuja. Be warned!!

@@umoakpan1189Like you said, there's scam everywhere in the world. However, it exists at an unusually astonishing and alarming level in Nigeria. Well what u just stated is the same anywhere else ,u truly didn't say anyt..Even in UK here we obviously have to use legal means to aquire real estate (solicitors involved etc , surveyors come on the scene b4 purchasing, look at the property, land ,assess future safety etc like in all my purchasing here..) IF u get scammed its your own incompetence not the one who scammed u...Its not even special due diligence but standard due diligence necessary anywhere..Why do u have to speak so harshly about your country..? The better the rise in buys the better the overall system but with folk like u de - marketing your own country foolishly, you make your complaint even worse for yourself..A surveyor can easily check out brick work ,drainage, quality etc .Is that such an unusual thing? Even here in UK we have what's called cowboy builders (scammers doing shabby work and running off,it's nothing new .It's the buyers job to get standard expert checkers and solicitors etc

@@imperialkingdom4821 First of all, you seem to lack basic reading comprehension skills, because if you had comprehended my statements, you wouldn't have replied with such an irrelevant and dum responses. In other word, there's no place in my statements where I had indicated that I was scammed by anyone. Secondly, it's Nigerians like you with very low standards, that are erecting dangerous structures all across the country, that are both structurally deficient and filled with workmanship errors, particularly because of your non chalant attitude for what you do. No wonder many lives are lost yearly from collapsed buildings all across Nigeria. I'm not surprised at your backward mentality. You live in the UK, yet you haven't learnt anything from how things should be done right or ccording to international standards. You're better of returning to your country

Before Abuja was there no corruption in Nigeria? When Lagos was the capital and government were corrupt did it not reside in Lagos? Leave Abuja to all who are here and enjoy it. Whether, business person, Uber driver, banker or secretary etc. We can at least enjoy a place that is green, serene and without the level of frustration and aggression that Lagos gives as its personality. We also enjoy wide smooth roads which they are still building and developing further as we speak.
