@@jake2355 Idk about the rockstars should never change part; Axl definitely changed and it was certainly for the better. He used to be the asshole to show up 2 hours late to his own show, then end it abruptly 30 minutes in because he'd get pissed off at one fan who looked at him funny. Now he's actually a great deal more humble, showing up on time--sober--and actually putting in the effort to make it a good show every night. Rockstars definitely should change when they are much of assholes as Axl used to be.

This tour was one of the most astonishing vocal performances of all time. It is difficult to believe that a human being can pull off a world tour with two hour shows with this intensity, but when you do it while being on another world tour your real band, also with more- than -two- hour shows, at age 55, after all the legal and illegal drugs, the booze, the cigarettes , the previous world tours with GN´R, well, it just becomes a miracle.

I just now watched a few songs on hear this being the last one and it still gave me chills. So Axl Rose is finally in the Best rock n roll band in the world and doing a pretty good job, no B.Johnson but you can tell he is putting everything on the table here and at the end of the night there's nothing left. And how about a tip of the hat for Chris, he has been around since the 19 50 ' s and still laying it down right!

Axl still has that razor-edge voice and can still hit those long notes like the boss he was in the late 80s and early 90s. Malcolm will be missed, you and Bon have a drink on me! Now I thought at first that Angus was beginning to struggle because it looked like his tempo had gone down just a touch (no pun intended), but in truth he was just warming up because he friggin slew the rest of the song! I don't know who plays bass and drums but they're still sounding just fine. Keep it up, guys, and don't let Axl go! Make him write some new stuff for a new AC/DC album!
@finlaybalfour10643 жыл бұрын
He does the intro pretty slowly in all his latest shows I think: it might be an age thing but I kinda like the feel he and the drummer have at the start. It's not perfectly in tempo at all but it still works.

Man, I wish I had been there. I missed ACDC and GNR when they came to ATL. You know Axl could have jammed out and danced even more and really gotten down like he usually does, but he wanted to make sure he DID NOT upstage any of the guys in ACDC. But he was part of the group then too so it would have been fine! Not that he didn't do a good job! He did! I am just saying you could tell he was really holding back so as not to upstage any of them. 😊 I can't imagine what that must have been like for Axl to sing for one of the bands that influenced him and that he loved and listened to. That GNR always said was one of their influences. What an honor. (And what a gift he gave to ACDC, too!!! Life saver for them.) FYI - Phillips is a better place to see a show than SunTrust Park if you do see a show in Atlanta.
