Bon was the better singer but Brian seems to be a much better person. I met Bon Scott a few times and he wasn't a very nice person on any of those meetings. +Shane Knox
@kevinwright76178 жыл бұрын
On two occasions he was smashed and really obnoxious to just about everybody. Both those times were when he'd just come off stage. it was incredible to see him perform and then see him hardly able to stand up and say a coherent word. I met him on another occasion at a BBQ and he was OK until he'd had a few drinks. To be fair to him I think the drugs and drink part of rock and roll got to him and he wasn't able to pull out of the down spiral.
@yknot28108 жыл бұрын
+Kevin Wright well I've never been lucky enough to met either but Bon Scott was still a better singer in my opinion. Bon was a Scotsman who was bad on the drink, not surprising really but most great frontmen are a holes, comes with the job

No effort? That's why he's pitchy and singing all those alternate melodies, right? I mean, he's alright, but people shouldn't glorify him just because he died a hundred years ago.

@@YTOnceAgain I think what they are trying to say is he sounds good drunk, which he does. Rock n roll shouldn't be perfect. Most of us 70s rock nuts want to hear the bands at their best and worst. I'll take a drunk, pitchy Bon Scott and AC/DC over a sterilized, over-stuffed performance of...I can't even think of a contemporary rock band to finish the comparison.
