From this game yes, but not all season. Kaka I'll give to you as being one of the best. But the main man saving our season from being any worse would be Nigel De Jong, that man has been saving our arses from heavy defeats every game and is such a fantastic defensive presence. I feel Balotelli has been a liability this season, he occasionally gives amazing performances, but has mostly been really lazy giving no attacking presence, selfish on the ball by taking unnecessary long shots and always diving when he could actually do something better! However, quite a lot of our players are having inconsistent matches, like Kevin Constant (Is great going forward and great at defending but it's the bit in the middle (tracking back having to defend counter attacks) which he is struggling to do), Montolivo (dictating the game one match, sitting back the next), Abate (but he mostly has to cover for the roaming CBs which causes him to run out of energy and so make some mistakes), Birsa (surprised me this season, but is generally inconsistent as he is a great attacking player one game, then starts giving away possession constantly the next), Robhino (same problem). I feel the rest have had pretty average performances or not performing to what they should be (mainly the CBs). I do feel sorry for Abbiati though, the amount of goals he concedes from situations that are highly unlikely for him to save from (one on one's, so many poorly defended set pieces leading to unmarked players having so much time to pot away shots from ten yards with a massive net and only Abbiati to beat. The last situation is most likely general open play headers from six yards out that go to either corner which not even Neuer or Lloris could react to. When he has had the chance to defend a shot from normal circumstances, he is a brilliant shot stopper as he showed against Barca the other day, and that included him coming back from injury as well. I would also like to mention that El Shaarawy was great last season, but he has been injured and so I can not pass a judgement on him yet, as well as Pazzini and De Scliglio (as he is still recovering), but all in all, we should be doing a lot better as we do have pretty decent players on paper, but the performances on the field need to improve, they are all great players, they are just not connecting and showing it consistantly (apart from De Jong and Abbiati in my opinion).

Dont forget Montolivo is also an integral part of our mid field.
