I started my TikTok early 2023 to help others gain their confidence in learning. When I first started my academic comeback journey, I struggled to find the resources and help that I needed. I went from an E to an A* within 3 months just to fall back down to an E, but I picked myself up and I’ve been an academic weapon for 5 years as a Chemical Engineering student! If i can do it, you can too!

I actually found that, for me at least, writing and copying things is how i remember. like for my biology exam, I was allowed a note card, and everything on the notecard I remembered because I wrote it down, but there were a few other things I hadn't touched on as much that I struggled with. Im saying this because there is no 'right way' to study, it all depends on the person. I strongly recommend some trial and error earlier on in the school year or during an easier subject so you know how to study the harder more important things later

you did explain very well, i just also wanna confirm by seeing a visual or examples of how you study. I am a visual learner so yea. congrats on 18k views tho! I think for u to keep subs u can label the bottom part of the video like the mini titles for people that dont wanna watch a 20 min video. Like me I enjoyed watching it but i was scrolling at the beginning to the part when you start explaining ur strategy (after you explained you failing earlier.

@@PCFGSTUDY literally do multiple videos for different techniques cuz people will be like oh shoot there’s a video for that and then yk they’ll scroll for more methods. u can make a video on how to stay focused. like now that u got those views u found what type of videos ppl want to watch from u. Especially cuz u rlly can speak to that audience, this method rlly shocked me cuz i was like wait so it’s not only active recall? cuz i find it very boring. but the captivating title was why i clicked on it.

But it feels like students who get high grades since young age or even in highschool ar the students who still get high grades in uni etc. İt feels too late to start over😢 after so many years of not doing my best in school or uni and feel always lazy or scared i feel like i wasted too much, but thank you really for your tips it Real helps❤❤

I know how you feel! I thought it was too late for me as well! like i said I used to fail every class and then suddenly realised I was making so many study mistakes and bad habits and once I changed that, I became "smart"

Hi! start them blindly! You dont have to start past papers knowing everything, use it to learn! You need to get used to the style of questions and how to find clues (and get into the minds of an examiner).

you've got this. honestly i feel the same way sometimes and im in my final year of uni now. Just know that you're not alone. I would suggest you document your study journey (I've started doing this last week). You dont have to post it (I post mine on tiktok so that others can see my journey and hold me accountable when they see me slacking) but so far I've come to realise that the image I have of me in my head does not mirror my reality. I thought I was the student I used to be that would study regularly, and I really thought I did a lot of studying, but without realising, I've actually lost that part of me and I barely do like 2 hours a day now. So when my grades are lower than expected, I get super surprised at why that is "since I put in so much effort" but after documenting my journey i realised I hadnt put any effort. Idk why it took me so long to realise this.

@@PCFGSTUDY oh my god that's so weird actually I'm feeling the same thing I realised that I was a procrastinated a lot because it's just my last year and I'm nervous I don't know what to do but I realised that it just because I'm nervous I don't study enough because I am actually nervous and I didn't know that I'm nervous until I watch out after myself that I don't even study that much that I used to study now I'm going to my exam there is 2 hours left I tried to study even what I didn't study that much because I just can't but I feel like it can get done easily so let's see how it's going to work and when I'm back to home I'll try my best again and I will do everything I have to do to my next exam English is my second language so I'm sorry for how bad it sounds

exactly we only get one past paper because our syllabus gets revised every 2 years

you have to do other exam boards as well or older papers (which are sadly really difficult to find). don't be afraid of doing other exam boards, all the A* students have done this. Bio is bio no matter what exam board, what language you study.
