An unboxing and demonstration of the function of the popular Acaia Lunar Espresso Scale as well as my overall impressions.
Sorry if there is problems with the audio, I recorded it in a way that ended up quite technically difficult.
Any feedback would appreciated!

I came back to watch this video, I have never really considered getting this scale before but because it looks as though La Marzocco are about to update their software to add brew by weight to their App and machines the Lunar could be a very good addition to my Linea Mini to take advantage of the updated feature.

Nice review. I ordered one yesterday. Modes can be turned off in settings. YT won't let me post a link, but (cut and paste the first couple lines into google and a video should pop up): Enter the scale’s Settings menu. Tap the Tare button until you see “Node_1.” Press the Tare button to enter the menu. Tap the Tare button to change the display from “On” or “Off.” Press the Tare button to save and exit the menu. Tap the Tare button to move on to the next mode. Continue for the rest of the modes.

I finally got round to doing that, thanks for much for that! I wouldn't have noticed myself. Makes it so much easier when you want to navigate the modes. It's a bit fiddly to use the settings but I'm so glad that they have this feature.

Ahh, you got the pre-2021 version here. The newer one has USB-C. 😢

I actually bought it in 2021 so I must have got it before it got released, or perhaps I got old stock. Typical! Never mind, it doesn't require charging all that often so isn't too bad.
