For the Pearl Model S, we would recommend the Brewguide app (for extra control and full use of the Brewguide mode) and the Updater App (for firmware updates). Let us know if you have any questions!

Hi there, thank you for your comment. At this time, the scale allows you to store one Brewguide at a time but I have passed on your comment as a suggestion to our team.

At the moment, the auto start auto-timer mode is currently only dual display. Our triple display mode with flow rate must be begun manual and both modes are intended for filter/pour-over coffee. It is something we can look into for the future, or possibly something that can be connected to with an app.

Thanks for your feedback. Customizing the time is something we're looking into.Out of curiousity, how many seconds would you need until it resets?

@@acaiacoffee i will see tomorrow, on the next coffee. i have a titus grinder kind and it take's smth like 20 seconds but with the time lost moving the portafilter & putting the coffee in the grinder (it s a single shot grinder) it take's maybe 30 to 40 s.

Hi Daniel, is this happening with any certain modes or all modes when you are brewing?

Is there a mode this should occur and a mode it shouldn’t occur? I just purchased it, so I have not explored all modes yet, but it certainly happens with the ‘timer’ mode. I would say there is a small delay after removing the cup & press from the scale, about 5 to 10 seconds until the timer stops. I should add that I was not using the app when I began using the scale and discovered the timer would stop as described, and now I’ve used the ‘brewermaster’ app and the timer still stops on the scale as described but the timer on the app continues uninterrupted.

Great question! We include a charging cable with the Pearl Model S and you can use your mobile device's charging block, which is already compatible with your region. Depending on how often you are using the scale, you may need to charge your scale once a week or once a month.

How long do we need to charge our acaia pearl s? It already showed low batt and charging it atm.

We have plans to refresh the Pearl Model S. We will announce on social media if we have any product or company updates!
