Achappam is a traditional Kerala snack made with rice flour. It is also called Rose Cookies. It is a favourite snack with Christians during Christmas times. The batter for Achappam is prepared with rice flour, egg, sugar and coconut milk. Enjoy the recipe.

🍲 SERVES: 8 People
🧺 INGREDIENTS
Egg (മുട്ട) - 1 No
Sugar (പഞ്ചസാര) - ¼ Cup
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - 1 Pinch
Thick Coconut Milk (കട്ടി കൂടിയ തേങ്ങാപ്പാൽ / ഒന്നാം പാൽ) - 1 Cup (250 ml)
Water (വെള്ളം) - ¼ Cup (60 ml)
Roasted Rice Flour (വറുത്ത അരിപ്പൊടി) - 1½ Cup (250 gm)
Sesame Seeds (എള്ള്) - ¾ Teaspoon
Coconut Oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) - for deep frying
