- INGREDIENTS -
Gram Flour / Besan (കടലമാവ്) - 2 Cups (180gm)
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - ¼ Teaspoon
Baking Soda (ബേക്കിംഗ് സോഡാ) - 1 Pinch (optional)
Water (വെള്ളം) - ¾ Cup (160ml) - Approximately
Refined Oil (എണ്ണ) - to deep fry

Sugar (പഞ്ചസാര) - 2 Cups (450gm)
Water (വെള്ളം) - ½ Cup (120ml)
Food Colour (Yellow) - Few Drops (Optional)
Cardamom Powder (ഏലക്ക പൊടിച്ചത്) - ¼ Teaspoon (Optional)

Ghee / Clarified Butter (നെയ്യ്) - 3 Tablespoons (Optional)
Cashew Nut (കശുവണ്ടി) - ¼ Cup (Optional)

Sugar Candy (കൽക്കണ്ടം) - 2 Tablespoons (Optional)

Thank you Shaan Geo! Finally I made it now, your mesaurements and instructions were great. I made 25 of them because small, it was very hot to begin with, that is why it was small. But I am happy that with your instructions, I made my first set of luddus, luckily my kids dont know much about it, so I can say these are Tiruvananthapuram luddus. Reason yours were perfect, mine didnt come round though, but good. Thanks again!

Today I tried this , come out well with excellent taste, ഞാൻ വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ ആണ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. It gives extra taste, പിന്നെ തുള ഉള്ള പാത്രം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. ഒരു പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് പാത്രത്തിൽ കുറച്ച് തുളകൾ ഇട്ട് എടുത്ത് adjust ചെയ്തു
