The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV gets an estimated 300 miles of range (480kms) from a 20-module, double stacked Ultium battery system. The Hummer EV has 300kW DC Fast Charging and theoretically can charge to 100 miles in 14 minutes. with 830 horsepower and 1200 lb-ft motor torque the Hummer can reach 60mph in 3.5 seconds.

You guys continue to have the best “embargo lifted” reviews on youtube! Well done. This Hummer EV is pretty ostentatious, but I do have a soft spot for any Hummer. My best friend’s dad had multiple of them growing up over the years. Good memories riding in the back of those brutes.

Too many are criticizing it’s range, it’s efficiency, it’s sales, etc. (all things that require it to be in *production).* The _real_ question: Where is Ford, Stellantis, and Tesla’s competitors?? Nobody else in the industry has accomplished this or answered to it - or *can’t* yet. But Marry Barra is supposed to apologize for stating GM is _leading the charge?!_ She was just being blunt. #ijs #GMC

Range is over 250 that’s totally fine. Most people drive 15k miles a year which works out to 40-60 miles per day depending on how much you work. Majority of EV households also own an ICE vehicle so can use that if they really want to do a long road trip without the hassle of waiting to charge.

Forget the price, in terms of space, comfort, especially the 2nd row with small children, how does it compare to the Yukon Denali? Is it as long & wide? Which one would you go for?? Seriously looking into this Hummer SUV

I would like it better if it came in a duramax option. Don’t get me 3 second 0-60 is awesome but range and cold weather makes it useless in my area.

An ICE in the frunk compartment is definitely not safer. What can be unsafe is if GM engineers the crumple zones for the t-tops and the owner places cinder blocks instead. The engineers need to know what is the frunk in order to know how to design the crumple zones. Tesla and companies making EVs with large frunks think the chances of owners placing a frunk full of heavy rigid items and then crashing head on is extremely low.

They rear-ended you on purpose. Do they make street tires for this thing? If the motor emits a stable sound its shouldn't be that difficulty to cancel with noise cancelling. At least at a stable frequency. @7:05 with all the advanced electronics its still possible to curb the tires? 😕 @7:19 First they claimed the original Hummer was too big and guzzled gas. Now with an 100% electric variant its still too much? Its not even the biggest SUV, and pickups are even bigger with no rear-wheel steering. Sorry bub, but vehicles are not getting smaller. Just the opposite. Anyway, I would have preferred a matte black skid plate, but this one isn't too bad. Forget about putting the flag on cars. We end up with every car with every nations flag on it. Nobody needs that. We already know Mercedes is German.

It’s expensive but compare the price to other large ICE suvs that do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. At the very cheapest youre looking at like a BMW X5 m50 which costs nearly $100k fully loaded. This more realistically competes with like the G wagon or Defender 110 V8. Both of which are well over $100k as well Edit: I guess you can throw the Durango hellcat in there too for $100k, but that thing is all engine, zero tech
