How do you feel about the colour on this Macan GTS? Love it or nah?

I have a 2015 Turbo and it is Awesome! But my friend just got the new GTS and it’s even more insane! Crazy how just a few years of technology and advancements can change so much. These cars are SUPER fun and handle SO well! Porsche is always defying the odds and will always be #1!

Went back to watch your Base Model review and came back to this one. Looks like you were having fun! As I said on the Base Model page, I've been car shopping for the last year and I have yet to pull the trigger on anything. Friend has the Macan in Chalk. Thought I'd take a look at them. Porsche makes a beautiful car. After looking at so many SUV/Crossovers over the last year, and watching 100's of review videos on them, I can see that Porsche is definitely designed for those who prefer performance over luxury. Not that there aren't luxurious features, the interior is gorgeous! But other manufacturers in this price range offer so much MORE for the price, including safety features. The shopping continues....

Enjoyed the review - I own the 2022 GTS myself in Volcano Grey and couldn't agree more with the performance and feel. In terms of tech and "lane keep"... its a Porsche and meant as a drivers car so lack of "driver aids" for those who aren't really focused on driving weren't really top or middle of my list and doubt it is for many as those who go for this car are paying that premium for its top of the range driving dynamics. It simply handles in a way that can embarrass most sports cars on the road today and what no other SUV could come close to doing. And the sound, one of the best sounds I've ever heard to come out of a V6 engine. Only thing on my "interior wish list" is perhaps some nice ambient lighting.

Fun review…..this is the IT factor for hot SUVs. Just took delivery of my 22 GTS in Volcano Grey loaded with carbon wheel and full silver stitching. Has the same wheels in your review, but in gloss black. Looks awesome . Drive is like a Cayman on stilts. Love the hatch sizing and utility with a sports car feel. Doesn’t give up much in real world driving. Keep ‘em coming …..great filming btw. 😊

I’ve owned two Macans and loved them both…now I have a 2017 991.2 Carerra S and a 2022 Cayenne, which are also fantastic. If Porsche makes an inferior car, I haven’t driven it. :)

Its all just advertising.When reviewers tested the Macan S they found it has the same power as the GTS..They think Porsche is doing it because its cheaper to just make one motor.The 4 banger is made by VW and Audi.Great review as always and love the Green.

Tight, Tight, tight!!!

So I finally test drove a 2022 macan s…can’t say I was completely impressed. Maybe it was the road the sales rep put me on. It was very curvy so I couldn’t get a sense of it’s power. But it def handled very nice. But it also felt very heavy to move at a stop sign, red light or when going from drive. The Audi sq5 felt more nimble and fun to drive, the base macan felt like more fun. Am I just crazy? I’m going to try to get another test drive but on a highway.

This car is the pinnacle of suv and hot hatch performance. A Marvel of engineering balance. The M3 E36 is not the fastest - but the best drivers car. I have 1000hp cars… you need to stop comparing numbers and realize the engineering and balance is what you pay for..

Big screw up on the center console by Porsche - Piano black will show every fingerprint you can imagine, the sun reflects off of it and will very quickly annoy the heck out of people !! Other than that, a great car.

Yes Porsche is all round better! I would consider test drive Genesis GV70 sport alternative midsize performance SUV if want value package and save half of your money!

Addressing the title: Not when every RS3 owner I have ever known (been in the 5 cylinder community since the first TTRS) tunes their cars. I don’t know a single 5 cylinder owner who’s car is still stock after 1 year of ownership. On the contrary, how often do you run into a Porsche suv owner who tuned their car? I know it’s stock vs stock but real world, on the roads, you’ll be seeing the tail lights of an RS3 if you’re in a Cayenne Turbo or GTS or even a Turbo GT and pull up next to one.

This thing is over 100k before you can say isn't this the Turbo? LOL. People love Porsche don't they. They get away with murder in their pricing. I'm cheap, I'd buy a BMW M40i or SQ5. But then again, if you want a sports car, buy a sports car not a SUV. re: the 911. I don't get that car. I'd buy the 718 GTS 4.0 everyday of the week. It's got the engine in the right place.
