The staff from the bird is actually a reference to terraria's journey mode starting summoner staff that summons a little bird to protect you

An observation: The sculk lantern looks like siren head, but with a light for a head instead of sirens

Idea: to make it more creepy, it could shrink and turn into a lantern and bait players to pick them up, thinking its an inanimate object, but when they get a certain amounts of blocks close to it, itll make crunching sounds that sound like bones snapping, and its limbs grow back. This would definitely bring feer to anyone who approaches it.

Personally the only thing I would change is the sculks behavior, to have a more unique style rather than just being a weaker warden, I'm sure most of the times players would rather kill them instead of trying to hide from them Aside from that, great mod!

Personally I think The skulk lantern would be creepy if it stole light from within it's visual range around it adding light level onto itself till the source of the light disappears and a group of them would average light level between eachother but alarm others in the group when they spot someone.

I remember coming up with a really similar idea a few years ago. It was inspired by Trevor Henderson though, and it was just like this one except without skulk. It was a living humanoid streetlamp. Here’s an idea for a future mob vote: The Flayl. A mystical mob that can be found naturally in the End, but can also be summoned on a full moon in the over world. You need a bottle of fairy dust which can be found in End City’s and a new well that rarely generates. As well as a glowing star. A glowing star is blue and orange-ish. You get it when a shooting star falls. You obtain the star by wrapping it up in leather with string. Like the bundle. The Flayl is a peaceful mob that is like the Glare but better. It can light up areas with its purple magic and tells you when there is an area where mobs can spawn. It can even help you across the void. Just hop on its back and enjoy the ride. 2 people can ride it. I think this is a solid concept. Also it has a pretty good amount of health like 17 hearts. You can feed it fairy’s for it to gain health back after a fight. The Model: It’s a little like a jellyfish, but without its tentacles and shape. It’s flat more on the top and on the bottom it has an attached purple skirt that is partly transparent. It has two wings that don’t go very fast, but it makes the mob seem a little more peaceful. The Flayl doesn’t have eyes and instead relies on sounds of the breeze in the end. Like the Warden. If you want more of a challenge making it, you can make it blue and orange.

I would like to see the woodpecker. It spawns in jungles. If you hit it, it attacks you. It drops a woodpecker beak that can destroy trees with one block broken.

I had this idea ealrier, but as I've seen your mob vote videos, I'd like to share my mob suggestion When we were first introduced the Аrmadillo, I thought Mojang could also add more birds along with ducks and (maybe) seagulls, and so I thought of the Gobbler 🦃 The gobbler is a netrual mob that spawns in all biomes along with mobs such as sheep or chicken, being a rare variety of the last one. It will have 16 health points (8 ❤) and can be breed with beetroot, along with being ridden with a saddle and a beetroot on a stick (similar to pigs). The gobbler runs a bit faster than the player (at the speed of a minecart), will turn agressive in case of being attacked and is constantly agressive towards spiders. When killed, it will drop feathers, flight feathers and a new meat type - turkey meat, that restores 9 hunger points (4,5 🍗) with saturation of cooked pork. The gobbler will drop flight feathers passively and they will be required to make the bird hat that can be used to put any of your feathery friends on top of your head, including the gobbler itself, or make flight arrows that fly further when shot. I think this mob will be a nice addition to Minecraft that you can just rarely meet in most biomes, and it will be a useful transportation source

The skulk lantern mob feels like a Little Nightmare Enemy and it gives a very creepy vibe for the deep dark

Terrabill: This creature digs underground and hides, only leaving it's bill visible. When you walk within 3 blocks of it, it attacks you and you get slowness 1 for 5 seconds and it deals 6 base hearts. Also, they attack other mobs that get close to it and they only move above ground. It is 1.8 blocks tall, 1 block wide and 2.3 blocks long (due to the tail and bill)

The Sculk Lantern is an example of spending 90% of the budget on 1 REALLY good thing, and then the rest were like... throwaway ideas they whipped up fast 😂😂😂 making up 10% for both of the mutated animals.

The Sculk lantern is actually an incredible idea. The Warden is big and beefy in a monstrous creepy way, but the Sculk lantern is more slender and eerie like a shadowy figure way.

The staff for the second mob is the exact texture of the Finch Staff from Terraria

I think maybe making the skulk lantern more bioluminescent-ish like in the minecraft concept art would be so cool! It could aslo just be a soul lantern to more refer the rest of the deep dark and ancient city with the blue light

The Stalker: A tall endermen like mob (taller) that will quickly run up to you and steal items 5-6 items from your inventory. The Stalker luckily does not despawn once it has stolen the items, and if you manage to catch and kill it, it will drop the stolen items. The Stalker is passive, and once it has stolen the items, it will run away. The Stalker is slightly slower than the player, making it fairly easy to catch. It also has a rare drop: The phantom hand that allows players to steal items from other players' inventories and steal weapons/items that are being carried by a mob (allows you to steal the bow from a skeleton, or a shovel from a zombie).

I've got an idea for the next mob vote. The mob is called a Coral Wailer. It's a whale that lives in the warm ocean biome. It grows coral on its back, as it cruises through the water. So what can you do with it? Well, first you'll need a raw fish (cooked fish won't work) to get the Coral Wailer's attention. Once it notices the raw fish in your hand, it will proceed to swallow you. Inside the belly of the whale, you will be able to build inside of it's belly. You can add crossbows to the outside or make a little a little hut inside the whale's belly. It's harmless to players but hostile to any sea creature as it needs to eat and is very territorial. If you kill it, you will get an item called the Sea Scanner, which you can use to scan 20 blocks away. The item will help find ocean monuments and abandoned ships. There are also baby versions that you can use to ride along the water, though they are slow. They're also rare to find as they are solo creatures. I really hope you can make this a part of a mob vote.

Clodhopper: A small, bipedal, mammalian creature with large ears like a fennec fox and sloth-like arms that automatically tends to any patch of hoed earth in a 5x5 radius. Unlike Farmer Villagers who merely farm crops for themselves, planting and gathering up the resulting produce without giving the player anything, the player can give the Clodhopper a chest within its radius to deposit crops in. When it harvests a crop, it simultaneously collects the final product and replants the seeds and will do so for any block of hoed earth before depositing the harvest into the chest. As a consolation, it will take some of the harvest for itself, but only a small amount that is dwarfed by the amount the player receives - perhaps a 1:25 or 1:5 ratio. Dimension-wise, it would be 1.4 blocks tall, one block wide, 2.3 blocks long (1.3 of which would be for a tail of any kind, really), have 6 hearts, and it could be employed by feeding it 2 - 5 melons (give melons a little more use); if attacked, it would just fearfully run around in circles for some 20 seconds or so, unless hit again. If killed, the Clodhopper drops whatever crops it was carrying at the time and one of its claws. Much in the same way as bones, it could be crafted into 3, bonemeal-like substances that instantly grows any crop to its full-grown stage. The idea is that the automated incentives the Clodhopper provides gives players ample reason to employ rather than kill them. Jumpump: A mischievous, little bugger that initially appears like your typical pumpkin, especially since it would naturally be found in wild pumpkin patches. When approached by the other mobs, including the player, it springs to life, forming a jack-o-lantern face and little arms and legs made of stalks, leaves, and vines, and attacks whatever disturbed it; once the threat has been eliminated, it settles back down and resets the trap. While classified as a hostile mob, it could be tamed by giving it pumpkin seeds, which could be additionally used to lure it to a desired area. The player could then select a specific block with the seeds and the Jumpump would settle down on it, resuming its passive state. If any other mob besides the player - or mobs that have been tamed by the player, such as dogs, cats, horses, etc. - it attacks them, essentially behaving as an automatic security system or a component in mob grinders. Dimension-wise, when active, it would be 1.2 blocks tall, 1.6 blocks wide, 1 block long, have 6 hearts, and rapidly deal 3 hearts of damage by biting its opponent. When passive, it appears and has the same measurements as a vanilla pumpkin. Upon death, it drops the same items as a standard pumpkin, with the exception of dropping both the pumpkin itself and the seeds as well, as opposed to just the pumpkin and getting the seeds by further crafting the pumpkin.

I would like to see the smuggler. It spawns in caves. It steals some of your items. If you hit it, it attacks you. It drops your items.

Lily Padler: Its a little, fat, green fish with a lily pad on their head. They mostly stays in shallow waters showing their lily pad, they stay very still. The player can stay on their head, but the lily padler will use their lily pad to throw them away (like a jump pad) They spawn rarely on swamps and mangrove swamps!

Recommend ideas:snow lurker explanation:They lurk in the snow, preying on wandering players. Drops teeth when killed habitat:They live in snowy mountains or cold taiga Appearance:They look like crocodiles but have many eyes, sharp teeth and very sharp ice at the tip of their tails.

Extra feature: crab legs can be smelted into cooked crab legs and can be used as another food source. If crafted with sugar,6 wheat,and a milk bucket it will become a biscuit

MOB VOTE IDEA: The Dyrillmite. A small 6 legged creature that has two drill like pincers near the front of its body. It can slowly dig through the ground and is not hostile. If it is attacked or hears something coming it’s way it will drill into the ground faster than usual. It is also blind and tamed by feeding it a new item called the gilded cobblestone. This item is obtained by putting a cobblestone in the middle of the crafting table and surrounding it with gold nuggets. The Dyrillmite can dig a 1by1 tunnel for you and break ores which it will grab the loot and bring it to you. (Can only hold 2 items) it would look cool if it was grey with a little bit of moss on it. And little spikes on its back.

I really like the Lamp Shulk concept. Firstly creepy, Secondly it adds a lot of potential in game

Here's an idea for a mob that I think could be pretty neat! "The Overseer" Basically, you'll find them sleeping around deep dark ancient cities, and they wont do much, BUT. When the Warden spawns, all of the Overseers (I assume around 5 per city) in the ancient city will wake up and starting scouting about. How they'll work after this is that they'll look around for the player and when one finds them, they start staying close to the player and send info to the Warden for where the player is. I imagine them to be pretty weak, but they'll kind of be floating out of reach of the player's melee attack, so you have to use something like a bow or trident to kill one. Once the Warden finally disappears, the remaining Overseers will move back to their original positions and fall back asleep.

I like the sculk lantern, but I like the blue prototype one better since it matches with the soul lanterns hanging around the city.

Also it is black and glowing mint green in its eyes,inside its wings,its teeth,blood and its insanely sharp spikes on its back and it can be tamed and you can ride it and fly around and you control it

you should create the Sprouter, a giant piglin covered in mushrooms from the nether, who will be able to summon particular zombies made of mushrooms

Coralwurms: Small, serpentine organisms with varying colors. Like tropical fish, but floor. They spawn in Tropical Reef biomes, and they drop Wurmskin, which shares the colors of their (now deceased) owners. Wurmskin is used in banners to make a bunch a new patterns and stuff. Also, invertebrates are cool forever.

Not sure if I'm too late, but I'd say the GREAT CLAW! I like the idea of the sculk lantern, but think the reward for killing the crabs is far more useful than a light detector imo. While I'm sure some people could figure out some way to do redstone builds with it, there are already different ways of adjusting redstone signals (hoppers come to mind). This makes the reward with the claw stand out as more unique. Plus, if you get tired of boats, it adds another function. Question, if you are riding the crab, will it attack things that are trying to attack you? Seems like a waste to have such big claws and not use them lol. Another mob idea... Some type of mob that you can ride in the water and while you are riding it, you have water breathing. Perhaps some dolphin type fish, tweak it a bit to make it more unique... Idk, just a thought.

Another fun idea for the Skulk Lantern could be that it could act as a scout for the Warden. For instance if it's exclusive to the Cities, maybe it could spawn in other deep dark biomes, but only via Shrinkers like the Warden. The difference is that it might spawn on your first or second trigger of a Shrieker as opposed to the warden's 4th. (Maybe 50% for the first and 90% on the second to add a little uncertainty) So that that way even those biomes are still a little more dangerous and tense even if you haven't triggered a shrieker yet, since I imagine this thing entering combat could potentially trigger more shriekers and thus the warden.

An observation: The Therano Staff looks like the Finch Staff from Terraria (It is)

I would like to see the straw golem. It harvests your crops for you. You make it with a hay bale and a pumpkin. It drops wheat.

They should add this to minecraft and add a detail where it stands still in plain sight and when you stand into life it comes to life

Here’s an idea: The Endura, a jellyfish like mob that glows a luminescent purple and spawns in the floating islands end biome. It won’t attack players but touching it will sting you and give poison and nausea. Killing it would give you the new item End Jelly which can be used to brew the new levitation potion along with levitation tipped arrows and such. I think the end is due for a new mob and I think this would give it more life. Perhaps you could breed them with chorus fruit and ride them

I think I have a good idea. The Murkush. This creature lurks in swamps, looking for prey. This creature mainly preys on any passive mob in the swamp. It's neutral, and will attack if attacked first. It's health is like an Endermans, but with extra health. I'd say it's a murky green to fit into its surroundings

An idea for a minecraft character: Name: grassy hider (you can change the name if you want) How it looks like: its head is 2 grass blocks tall, 2 red eyes and 2 dirt slabs under those eyes. It has 2 pointy teeth at those slabs. It has a black body (its basically a body with a tail, thats the whole body). What it does: it hides in holes 2 blocks or more to act like if it was just a 2 grass blocks. It can get out of its hide spot randomly. Upon contact, it just flee away. Upon hurting, it will attack you by dealing 3 damage. You can feed it with grass. You can even cut its grassy hair. It will grow after 2 mins. Upon stepping on it when it hides, it will shoot you 5 blocks high and flees away. (Sorry if its too much complicated, you can change its actions)

Skulk lantern would make the deep dark alot more fun to explore

A concept for a sculk mob is for an “alerter” or another name basically it’s a mob sculk themed but has a build of the quiet place monster and it alerts and sets of all shreikers and summons mini sculk monsters or somin.

I have a mob idea: The Enderwolf, a giant wolf with six legs, it looks like end stone and chouros flowers growing off it. You can tame it using choros fruit and if you do you can ride it and use it to teleport small distances. If you attack it will fight back and if you kill it you get the Ender claws, you can equip this in the off hand to have stronger punches.

I feel like there should be more sculk mobs. Every dimension has mobs specifically in that dimension. Yet, here is the deep dark that feels too different to be considered a biome, probably another world, and it only has the warden. So thank you for the Sculk Lantern. Edit: I also feel like every dimension also has a theme but that's for another video.

I would like to see the oretoise. It spawns in caves. It's a tortoise with a type of ore on its shell. You can mine the ore with a pickaxe. If you hit it, it attacks you. It drops nothing.

I think they should just add Siren Head to deep dark, and if you throw an egg at it you’ll be able to move around without alerting sculks for 5 seconds because that man will be blasting the beat of Mutation by C418.

I like the Great claw! I also think that the skulk lantern is useless because it does the exact same thing as a lever or button which is easier to find and it wastes resources crafting it.

You might even be able to make an even better clock in your base if you don’t want to go out and check if it’s dark because some people aren’t really good at redstone so yes it will be useful

Idea: skulk jaw Act: a neutral mob that does 8 attack damage. It runs around trying to set off skulk sensors. It has a 20% chance of spawning when breaking a skulk shrieker Model: a small vertical rectangle with arms and legs. It has teeth that covering most of its body and somewhat resembles the warden’s rib cage. It would have some form of eyes because its main purpose is to help the warden find its way around, or to summon the warden.

I really like the sculk lantern because if it were a mob in Minecraft, the warden wouldn’t be the only mob in the ancient city, it would add a lot for one mob

Mob idea: the nether rat (not a name I have settled on). Description: a small rat like creature that scurry’s around the different areas of the nether, looking for food (a new item called warped cheese), which can be found in chests and from killing the rat. Taming the rat with cheese can make it follow you home through the nether portal. Like a cat, the can bring you things like cheese, string, and even ore nuggets! They can also grow by being fed a special piece of cheese called “ender cheese”, which is found in the end city. The more the rat grows, the better items it brings you! They have 2 hearts, so make sure to keep them away from any dangers like creepers, zombies, cats, wolves, and piglins.

I would like to see the wisp. It can spawn anywhere. It looks like a wisp from Minecraft Dungeons and it circles around mob drops and dropped items. It drops nothing.

The therano bird staff is literally the same texture as a bird summon from Terraria

I would like to see the poisonologer. It spawns in the poisonshroom forest. It’s looks like the iceologer but with a purple cloak instead of a blue one. It throws poison bombs at you. It drops poison bombs.

What about a primal shulker with orange coloration. Instead of levitation it gives a new effect that makes it so you can't jump. It would drop an upgrade to shulker boxes that turn them into a double chest.

The Sprouter , a gigantic mushroom-covered piglin that will spawn in the nether warped forest. He will be able to summon zombies made of mushrooms from the ground. Once killed it will be release a new plant called Warped Sprout. This plant can be used to poison mobs. It is extremely strong and slow.

That sculk lantern looks straight out of the Trevor Henderson universe. Specifically light head.

future mob vote idea:The Snow Wisp. A peaceful mob that is found naturally in the ice spikes it can hide itself when it's snowing. However if you attack it will shoot little ice spikes at you and run away. It looks like it's a blue orb (orb can be any color) with little ice shards around it. It lets you ride it and while riding it you can float down slowly.

the pixel animation in earlier is the true Minecraft 2d game unlike other content that says Minecraft is 2d but still only uses the 3d world

This is my mob to suggest The Sculk worm It is a Worm That lives under the ruins of the deep dark , It will attack at an unknown moment Every time it attacks a player it will grow much bigger And more stronger The attack is: It will go up the ground attacking while jumping and it will sink down to the ground at it's second attack, it will infect one player the player will losse control and start attacking players to remove the effect, The unifected player have to hit the infected player If it grows to huge size it will start chasing players, Destroying everything in it's path Hope you like it!
