The differences between the two tables is so apparent: Rob divulges important information at the boys table = Alan, Ben and Rowan just nod. Rob divulges important information at the girls table = Diligent note taking all around.

The vibes are different I think because the boys are making up new lore on the spot, and demand rob follow it. The boys also move really really slowly, because there's a comedy retract every minute or two, for a 30s segment

The storytelling in these episodes really makes things pop. I feel that the background is so much deeper for these characters than in the other D&D. Not to take away from the guys - theirs is fun, but this has more heart. Fun and some darker bits - awesome work!

The guys were working with pre established characters that were not designed for a DND world, so it makes sense that it would be harder to mesh

Funny thing is I have found these characters a lot shallower than the guys so far. Probably due to the fact we have had barely any time to flesh them out and so there just is not as much material to work with to now. Not to take away from the girls but we just haven’t had a chance to get to know them.

Maybe, but personally I attribute this mainly to Robert who, due to the more attentive and mature nature of the girls, can finally direct storytelling more in the way he envisioned. I mean, even the NPC's feel on the higher end of the background depth spectrum from what we've seen so far. However, as nice as it is not having Rowan getting lost mid dialogue, it's this chaos thats the other campaign's whole appeal. From there we get iconic sequences such as "Yarris Goldhorn confronts 5 morons" or "I told you you were locked in here with us" and much, much more. I'm sure this group will have such moments of its own soon, but they'll be of a different kind.

Strangely, I feel that I know more about them in the D&D realm than the guys, but from a D&D perspective. The guys had their own world but it did feel like they were not quite the same as in the NPC world. That's just me, and that's why I truly enjoy hearing other people's perspectives - it makes me rethink stuff I thought I thought!

I watch each campaign for the men and women for two different reasons. The guys are great for being chaotic and not taking things too seriously. The ladies are more focused on the prize and character building. Both are really fun. Honestly, the ladies are more like the D&D groups I played with in the past.

At first it felt like not much was happening, but, this is VLDL, something will ALWAYS happen! 😂 - Looooving the tie-in with the boys story! Makes for a great full bodied story in one go. I knew it was already happening, but this one brought it into a timeline I could follow: yay! - The PSA: I am in stitches right now! 🤣🤣🤣Had to pause the episode since I was not able to follow it anymore. 🤣 - And biggest one of all: Noooo, Gellerrrrr ... don't run awayyyyy! I truly hoped for more of his creepy-ness to outshine any conversation into itself (if that makes sense 😆) Phoenix/Sneaki almost crying ... I FELT it! I wanted to grab her and put her in my pocket for safekeeping. Everyone has their own story, off course, but hers, in this moment, sounded so desperate, and she became so fragile ... With Arrow I know the story made her more bad-ass, she is realy leaning into it, finding creepy stuff cute and so on, but Sneaki made herself bad-ass through her loss. This episode is amazing! A lot moer fleshed out it feels like. Thanks Misfits!

Man, because this is all happening in the same world, I think the final battle with Laethil or Kelothac would be a mega table episode where all of the adventurers are like just there and it would be amazing! Can’t wait for that but at the same time, I wouldn’t want this series to end. I mean it can theoretically go for eternity anyway. Follow up on Robs stream about Vampires. Say Arrow was invited into bubbles bottle (lvl 10 I know). Could she be carried inside someones house? Is she then imprisoned in there, untill they leave again? Or would the bottle have to be left outside, with her in it?
