@Smattless Wow. So this man works hard, displays moral and ethical character, and decides to allow his error to be shown and to do the right about it while explaining the reason he did it and you attack him. Then you try to speak for the majority. You sir are the only MORON here. He has the free right to express his religious beliefs and practice his religious beliefs just like anyone else and I will not stand by and say nothing when people like yourself try to infringe on that. Besides I TOO believe in God and believe that accountability to Him makes me a better person in the long run. Great job with the video and for being a man of integrity @NorthridgeFix.

I’ve worked in repair shops like this before, and have unbelievable respect for you man. Profit margins are always super thin (just buying new gear is usually only a bit more expensive than the labor time it’ll usually take for fix tough stuff), customers are alwaysss assholes or at the very least crazy ignorant, you’ve always gotta do things urgently, and when you fix one thing you’ve still got more mystery things to diagnose and fix so you don’t have time for the elation of successfully fixing a device. But the SKILLS man, the freaking skills. The most unsung, most skilled, most stress-handling heroes in the IT industry. You guys are amazing.

Work ethics and a person word, is one of the most admirable qualities in somebody. I do import, repair and sell concert show lights, and many times I received new equipment broken, something stops working or sometimes even honest customers admitted it was broken by accident, and I always take care all my customers. I prefer loosing money before anybody in this world can say something bad about me. Life teach me that if you do good without seeking something in return, always God multiply the goods to you. Not always will be with money, it can be good health, good family or more work. I'm admire your skills, but now I do admire more your work ethics, not too common to see that on this days.

I seriously love this video. So much to be learned here. I work at a repair shop and I've had similar situations happen where customers keep stopping me from trying to repair something. Going back and forth like that can cause components to be damaged, lost, or temporarily lost. In fact I had situation just like this happen a few months ago. I was lifting the LCD from the frame to unscrew the metal plate keeping the ribbon cable in place when a customer came in wanting me to look at something. While I was talking to the customer I didn't realize that I was tugging on that ribbon cable a little too tight and ended up just barely ripping it. Those LCDs are EXPENSIVE, and I was so angry and frustrated as this was the first LCD I have damaged. I'm not gunna lie, I thought about making some excuse and lie about how the broken LCD was something that was part of the repair price, but I am very religious and know better. I know that God is watching, and He will bless us when we do good things, and He will also punish us when we do bad things. Religion gives you character and integrity. It helps people to be better than they were the day before. I commend you for your honesty and integrity. Its hard to find good people like you.

I just found your channel, it showed up on my recommendations. I wanted to send you a quick message. I applaud your comment to honesty and fair play. It is an admirable trait to posses, unfortunately it is also a very rare to find this trait; especially in the repair industry. Due to the specialized knowledge required by most repair service technicians, honesty and a conviction to fairly serve the customer is a vanishing trait. Working in the repair service industry also means that the device/machine/system also often demands that the technician must do more than the bare minimum when repair is required. Fixing a problem only for a short time isn't what the customer expects, so the tech will often need to tell his/her customer that the problem will require more than a simple part replacement. Or other services are required to make the repair more than temporary. If the service technician isn't committed to the best possible service with constant consideration of cost to the customer, then he/she is destroying the trust that everyone must give the tech. How will we have their trust, if we are not trustworthy? I have worked as an electronics repair technician for both consumer electronics and in manufacturing quality control/ customer return service repair. It is often a difficult decision to whether or not a device lives or dies in the tech's hands. Does the device get repaired, or is the repair too expensive? How important is this device to the customer? I was always astonished as to what the owner thought was irreplaceable. I don't know if your business deals with this type of device repair, or you specialize in a specific area, but I would suggest to at least put the decision in the owner's hands. Give them a rough estimate and explain what you believe the device is non economically repairable. By the way, I am fascinated by your diagnostic procedure. After two years in the Electronics Repair courses offered in High School, and a two and a half year Associate's degree education. I have not seen anyone trace a fault in the manner you do. Your technique seems very functional and works well with the speed at which your repair scheduling needs to be. Respectfully, Computer/Electronics Geek

Good thoughts produce good actions which (usually) produce good consequences. Bad thoughts produce bad actions which produce bad consequences. These ripple out like waves on a pond, affecting you and everyone they touch, like a Tsunami of evil. This, irrespective of one’s religious beliefs, is why one should strive to do good, and fight evil. Even if it’s something as simple as eating the cost of a broken screen. Bravo! 🤗
