After watching a couple of videos on this rifle, I had to have one. I realize 762x39 doesn’t have much recoil.... but, I dropped a muzzle break on it , just for the cool factor. To my surprise, my groups are 1/2 moa with the silver bear ammo. This particular rifle goes to the range first and foremost every range trip. A bonus ( like you said ) is the ammo is super cheap😎

Absolutely love this little rifle. I get my best groups using Golden Tiger and a newer lot of Red Army that seams to be identical to Golden Tiger.(same lacquer and sealant)

Definitely an awesome rifle. Ive made a few videos on it. Mine loves the Hornady Black SST ammo and it does almost as good with the Hornady SST steel case ammo, which is a little bit cheaper. I'll have to get some of the red army for plinking at the range, that was a good group .👍

good video. i put on a $20.00 steel brake to protect the muzzle n crown and it works great. Ruger hit a home run with this lil truck rifle. i'm trying to find out the torque setting for the action screws from Ruger they still haven't answered my email yet.........?

I love this caliber and love cheap steel cased ammo! I hunt deer with this caliber and find the Hollow points works best I used a Zastava M-85 Bolt action as well as a Ruger mini 30. This caliber is great for women or a young person by the fact it does not kick like a 270 lightweight rifle. Your limited to about 250 yards with this caliber, however.
