Take the loco off the track and put it back on. Mine failed to start at first and had a few cutting out issues, but after 30 minutes in each direction she’s running great. 37423 runs perfectly, no issues with cutting out or anything. Maybe try CV8=8.

Sound cutting out is usually your controller. I use a Z21 and you can set the function to either switch (on all the time ) or ( push button ) switch on then off.

Great looking model. Pity about the sound. I had an issue a long time ago with a sound model and the power connection from my controller. However I suspect this is something different as your other model was fine. Try running the model backwards and forwards before putting the sound on. Sorry....might be worth contacting Accurascale, see if they've had any issues or can advise on any cv tweaks to improve take off etc.. Good luck Paul

Dave at its my model railway has the same problem as yours cuts off in exactly the same place as yours take a look at his video it seems like a faulty batch of sound decoders to me

You can change the CVs to address the pulling away issue.

Got the same one and must admit didn't notice the sound not coming on after it starts to roll, will have to check that out, also they screwed up on F17 which supposed to be for the spirax valves but instead turns off the tail lights but F18 supposed to do that but instead it turns off the headlight which is done elsewhere. To be honest I think Accurascale need to re-issue a corrected sound file that has the cold start and F17/F18 sorted to customers who wish to have it and the means to download to their sound decoder via a Lokprogrammer. Btw my loco worked perfectly out of the box including the sound thus not sure why your sound cuts out like that???

Wow, very jealous, I love a Clas 37, stunning livery! Interesting what you mention about the sound, I was going to go for a sound fitted one too. That chip install is superb, so handy. Maybe the issue is around your power clip? I assume the pickups are okay on the loco? Have you run it in? A good half hour can often help, I had the same issue with my Class 08 initially...
