More afraid of tornados and hurricanes than earthquakes.

😮. I don't agree, that is a personal opinion. I've been through a few hurricanes and I am absolutely terrified of earthquakes.

Is that the seatbelt alarm?

so my story is that i was in school when this happened so basically we were about to leave and go home and get on the bus/ car then we heard the announcements say “this is not a drill. this is a tornado warning. g we into positions until we have the all clear. again this is not a drill.” i was shaking and scared as i have severe anxiety of all sorts. we were in the tornado position for about it 40 minutes then we got the all clear. i was scared and praying for the kids at most elementary schools because they had to stay at school until about 5 because parents got delayed to pick them up. when it was over i was stuttering so much my friend was like : are you okay? because i’ve never been like that before. have a tornado happen when your at SCHOOL is an experience i never want anyone to to go through. i was praying the whole entire time and i’m so grateful to be alive rn as it was close to my school. i was and still am praying for everyone that was hit.

Who was the storm chaser following the tornado 🌪️ near Clarksville, Tennessee?? 😮😮😮😮😮

Exactly, they don't never do this and Clarksville has tornados around the same times. Not annually but when they do strike it's around the same time of year like around this passed Christmas six of them touched down out there between them and Nashville

I thought TN and WV were mountain states, never knew they even got tornadoes. I always thought only flat land were tornado territory
@venomx40938 күн бұрын
@@dinarusso3320 TN gets tornadoes yearly. 31 tornadoes on the yearly average according to the stats from 1995 to 2023. 1388 tornadoes since 1950.

Look! I wanted to know who was the storm chaser going after the tornado 🌪️ but you didn’t answer my question but chose to change to another subject and I’m disappointed in all your comments-you didn’t help and that’s the last thing I ask because you ignored my question-and I’m not going to accept that unless you change your mind!

Love how people stop in the middle of the road to film the storms. Wtf. Like wtf. Amateur and self declared storm chasers and social media in general have made tornadoes insanely more dangerous for the actual locals dealing with their destruction and havoc, the number of people that have been injured and killed by insane storm chasers breaking traffic rules and blowing intersections, the number of people trying to race home to their families and loved ones when the sirens are going and the threat is imminent , but instead of getting to make to their families and make sure they’re all safe in their shelter, they end up stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, traffic that is made up of literally 90% storm chasers, all chasing the same super cell and hot spots on the radar, and all so selfish and ignorant and unconcerned with the people who actually live out there and who actually have something to risk. It’s sickening and infuriating. To the real storm chasers, the real spotters on the ground actually making a difference and helping to save lives, while simultaneously respecting and considering all of the lives around them, the lives of the people who live in these towns, who have children and spouses they are desperate to get to, I admire and applaud all you do. To the people who think throwing on your emergency lights as you stop dead in the middle of the road to literally film a tornado- get a life, and a helmet.

There's a major difference between trained spotters and chasers that do it for a hobby. I'm a trained SKYWARN spotter for the National Weather Service. Can't stand it when chasers block the road either: makes it more difficult for me to do my job and help the NWS track these 🌪️. A real chaser has a responsibility unlike social media chasers to protect people. It's what I do in Texas. About time someone said something!! Now days I don't hesitate to use my horn if someone just blocks the road when they can pull off in the grass or something, and it's not because I'm trying to be a jerk.

Maybe people just panic and don't know what to do in that situation. Maybe the tornado is near their home which they're trying to return to. I'm sure what you said happens sometimes, but this is a chaotic, scary situation, and people don't always make sense in those situations.
