Yeah, I felt the voice was a bit too deep for Apollo as well. I think that deep of a voice would've fit Phoenix far better. :P Simon is supposed to be British (you can tell from the way he talks in the game), so I'm sad to not hear an English accent from him.

The main characters, as in, not the villagers, seem to be a little uninformed about Yokai. "Yokai? As in, one of those Japanese demons?" is literally the line Apollo said when he went to the Vale with Trucy. Now, Yokai is literally the Japanese word for "demon", at least, before the rest of the world and Japan exchanged cultural knowledge of each other. Would a man like Apollo, that may or may not be Japanese by birth, but STILL was growing up in said hypothetical Japan compare a Japanese Yokai to a Western Demon? No. And everyone knowing what a Nine-Tails Fox is isn't surprising. I mean, the legend has been reincarnated IN ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ANIME INVOLVING SUPERNATURAL, and if a person haven't watched any anime with the Nine-Tails, he might have heard of the legend, and would know about it. I mean, the Nine-Tails is just: Ninetails is good, hero of light, beats baddies, seal a baddy away. Not much else to it, it's just that people can add layers of story depth to that. Or at least that's what the game is telling us, which can be the canon Nine-Tails legend in THERE, but not in the real world. Also, isn't it entirely possible that Simon Blackquill is a huge weeaboo, or at least was when he was younger? I mean, he dresses like a samurai, something that Japanese clearly don't do every day of their life, unless they're obsessed with samurais like Simon. and love and preference aren't tied to people being Japanese or German or English or whatever, they're tied to people liking something regardless of their origins. And oh, he said the word "Dono"? Of course a guy that like samurais and would like to be one would use 1 japanese word in his vocabulary to look more Samurai-ish. Among all the dozens of British words he uses. And he has no Japanese accent in his Thu'um. And well, why are you bailing out of the conversation? I'd like to know if I missed something, or is mistaken about something. I'd like to get a response from you. If it won't be a contradiction like your last 2 sentences.
