I don't know why or how in almost every video pertaining to AC7's PSM guides and the like, most don't even mention that your left stick need to be in neutral (you don't push it whatsoever) to initiate PSM. You can be in the right plane and the right speed range, but if you're turning (left stick not neutral) then you'll just do a normal High G turn when you press both triggers; and most likely stall. Something that PSM beginners should keep in mind is to *NOT* hold the left stick > press both triggers > _then_ you can pull on the left stick down. Once you can reliably initiate PSM and hear the activation sound effect, then you can go wild and try all the fancy tricks. Flicking the stick in the beginning helps me especially.

The High-G effect remains active on the Nosferatu even after the energy of the High-G Turn burns out. All High-G inputs and effects have to be cancelled out entirely on this aircraft to activate any PSM. This is unique only to the CFA-44.

I love the EOMs mod (enchanced gunplay gaunglet edition) for those mnuvers, one of it's modules let you perform post-stall manuvers without slowing down to 500kmph, it makes for a much more useful and dynamic PSM experience.

from my understanding mainly those fighter jets which got 2D/3D Thrust Vectoring system and some cases extra canard foreplanes for the plane to perform the PSM. The F-15 series can't do PSM but only the F-15 S/MTD can which was an experimental test plane. In the Movie Top Gun Maverick, the SU-57 is doing what's called the Kvochur's bell or Kvochur bell maneuver as demonstrated by this SU-27 here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mN2Yncijy8elqWQ.html Maverick's F-18E ability to do the full kulbit is taking reference to the F-18 High Alpha Research Vehicle (HARV) which was the only experimental F-18 to be fitted with 2D thrust vectoring nozzles on the engines much like the F-15 S/MTD But both the F-18 HARV and F-15 S/MTD were proved too expensive & complex and the main trade off was lower top speed The F-35B would have been a good candidate for the 3D thrust vectoring technology but its only used for VTOL seems like a waste.
