Managed to locate where the SPW parameters are stored and decided to play with the MPBM's ones. By increasing its radius of damage as well damage per second and entity spawn distance (how close/far enemies and destroyable objects will spawn from the player), you can basically obliterate everything on the map you're playing, as you can see in the examples shown in the video.
Sadly (and as expected) when I tried to fire the MPBM towards the cluster of enemies in the AoA version of The Gauntlet the game crashed as soon it detonated, most likely caused by the game spawning thousand of particles for all enemies destroyed overwhelming the emulated PS2 memory.
