Last laugh? KISS just grossed like $1 billion on their final tour. Ace playing House of Blues, etc. He is an icon his playing is choppy and muddled. Always has been.

After all these years... After everything that has happened to KISS... Now witnessing what Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have become at this point in time... Ace is the only one left who has remained capable of performing at ROCKSTAR level. Those guitar solos are note for note. I learned how to play the guitar in nineteen seventy six just because of Ace. I love that guy. I love that he is still getting it handled. ACE, ACE, ACE, ACE!!!

He ain't the fastest, the most technical, or the most inventive guitar playe.........he just has something special. If you grew up in the 70's and you love the guitar he was an influence. I still find myself doing certain things on guitar and remember I copped that from Ace. Legend!

Said it before, and I'll say it again. He's the most talented out of all the four members of KISS. Gene and Paul couldn't have made a worse mistake letting him go or have the audacity to not give him better pay if he were to tour with them, on their final tour, you know, their THIRD Farwell tour!? I mean, all four members are KISS, no doubt, but Ace, to me will always be the heart and soul and the very sound and spirit of KISS. Sure, he's made his mistakes, but in comparison, he's appeared to have been humbled the most and is willing to admit, whereas Gene and Paul, are and will always be narcissistic money-hungry businessmen. No offense to Tommy Thayer, I like him, he has talent, same for the other guitarists that replaced Ace, but none of them will ever be the original Space Ace. Just like with Mötley Crüe, without Mick Mars, I don't know who they are, KISS without Ace Frehley, I don't know who they are.

@@joenickell6323i agree. We all loved and peter. But lets face it. They were on coke and lived the lifestyle and got ruined by it. All paul and gene did were work hard and keep kiss going.

@@mooch514If I had to deal with Gene and Paul's ego b.s. 24/7 on the road and in the Studio I would've also probably done the same things as Ace & Peter to release some steam! Kiss worked and toured literally non-stop without a break from 1972 until Ace and Peter were gone by 1982. Have you ever heard of such a thing called burnout? For Gene and Paul it was always about money money money! Ace and Peter made it very clear in numerous interviews that they were mentally exhausted from being on the road for so long and being as famous as KISS was in the 70's I could easily see how that could take its toll on Ace & Peter If they weren't driven by money!

That's that Thing about Ace: You can Figure the Song, Just by Hearing the lead solo part..,.Deuce, Hotter than Hell, I stole your Love.,..the lead Part is Just a Song for itself. I Always liked Ace, but figured Out much later, after all the " Sport- Guitar- Hype", how extraordinary He really is...in the sixties, He would have been definitely one of the Heroes later on
