Sir, In Acer aspire 5 - A515- 56 i5 11th generation (8gb + 1TB HDD model) May I know there is one more additional slot to put SSD along with 1TB HDD so after that I will use SSD & HDD both simultaneously?

I have an Acer Aspire A515 56-57TY which comes with 8gb ram and can be upgraded upto 20gb using a single module. But i cant find a 12gb ram ram module anywhere?

You just need 16GB and with 4GB onboard you will have 20GB

Hi. Thanks for this video. Very helpful. I'm just wondering if the Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-54AW is the same? I have the chance to buy one at a reasonable price but would need to go to >16GB. (4GB soldered, + 16GB module). Do you happen to know if this is possible for the 56-54AW ? Also, nice background music. Care to say what it was?

Every model that's A515-56 should be identical. Mine is A515-56-54WE and it's exactly the same internally when opened as this one is.

Does this laptop (A515 56G) support M.2 SATA SSDs?

No, this supports M.2 PCIe SSD. The notches on the card are different and incompatible. However given that the SATA M.2 drives aren't popular any more i assume you are referring to a PCIe NVME, which would work in this laptop. The only issue is that this is the default drive installed, so you would need to ensure that your files and OS are moved onto the new drive. Alternatively just use a SATA SSD (2.5")

It is NOT a Sodom slot. It IS a SODIMM slot. (As in a DIMM made for a laptop.) Please inform the monotone teleprompter. Otherwise, you have some good points.

@@alperren That might depend what version you get. I got the A515-56-54WE from Best Buy Canada that has 8 GB. 4 GB is soldered on and there's a 4 GB RAM stick.
