for its time it was a very sweet laptop. I installed mint mate and it brought it back to life oo.

*When he take out that first part, what is that called exactly? Bcz it is surely not the battery right and so that, grey thingy looks like a harddrive space, but it is not. Does someone know what it actually is? On mine that space and other is missing some parts, bought a used one, so I would like to know so it can be used again.* *Also, what is the main things on a laptop that can be worn down after years and years of hard or light use?*

Hey is the cmos for the 7730 in a ridiculous place like earlier models??...my laptop isn't showing signs that it needs changing at the moment but i am doing some other maintenance and i am wondering if it worth changing whilst i have the machine opened up!!.. also is it possible to take the fan assembly out without having to remove both the front and back panels.....many thanks

ok i was just wondering if i can get away with not taking it completely apart to clean the fan and put fresh paste on!!....thanks for your help mate!

Ciao Gabriele, anch'io ho questo modello ma non ho capito una cosa: il modulo bluetooth è da acquistare a parte? Spingendo il tasto a sinistra della tastiera, compare la scritta in verde BLUETOOTH DISABILITATO. Grazie
