Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your Acer V5-122p laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.

I recommend changing the hard drive, with an SSD with Windows 7, to make it a much faster computer

What do I do, when I plug my charger, the charging light blinks, then it starts charging. However, it won't turn on?

@regazzz I had the same issue. Each time I plug it into the power, the charger's light is blinking but the system is not coming up. Once I removed the charger, the charger's light indicator will stop blinking. Please what is the possible solution to address this issue?

Just the digitizer panel was broken, but not the screen on a similiar Acer model. I did not succeed at separating the digitizer panel from the screen, so I ordered a complete touchscreen assembly with bezel. I recommend anyone considering just ordering the digitizer alone first remove the old one from the screen to make sure it can be done.

Yes, it is not replaceable ... I mean you still can replace it but I think it should be heated up in that case.

Why dissasembled whole notebook only for touch screen?Not needed,only plastic with digitizer is needed to be removed.Easily,i did it the same before some days.But i was really carefull to don´t crack LCD.

+Petr Vrtílka This is mainly a whole disassemble/reassemble video. Obviously for only a digitizer it is unnecessary to take it completely apart. You are right.

Wondering if you can help me!! I have a major problem with this laptop!! Started going Off when I would pick it up then one day screen went off while I was using it. Fan still spins & blue light comes on. Tried shining a light On the screen and it's just black. I took it apart an tightened screws up, no longer goes off when I pick it up but still no screen :/ been quoted £90 to fix it. It wasn't the best laptop in the world but now I have no laptop

Kayleigh2304 Hey, it sounds like a bad video. If plug the laptop to a TV do you get any picture? Torrents and all files is not a big deal to get out from the hard drive. There are lots of little and cheap tools that can be connected to a computer.

Not really. You probably will be able to replace a digitizer even without removing an upper part. But it will be much easier to work on the upper part if you just simply removing it from a laptop.

Casey McVay Hey, thank you for asking! Unfortunately I don't. Just because this part was still good and removing a digitizer would have a risk breaking either LED or Digitizer glass. Sorry!

Replacing a keyboard on this laptop is a huge pain, since the keyboard is in one piece with palmrest and what you would need to do is practically complete teardown and placing a motherboard on a new palmrest (that will be with a new keyboard) and assemble everything back.

XTEntertainment I'm currently hoping to do that, I have everything ready but the CPU is soldered to the motherboard on this laptop, you could remove it but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

You won't want to do that, the battery is really small and made for a very low voltage CPU.

First was a screws than case cover than unplugged screen and removed screen upper part. After that removed battery. You can also give time stamp of part you need to know.the name. Also please unplug battery first.

Using a pen knife to pry open plastic? BAD IDEA. You should use a plastic blade for that. Unless off course you want loads of little cuts along the edge.

+cinilaknedalm all plastic tools I used wear out so quick. U mean, yeah for one laptop - bad idea. If you take apart 10 a day. Good idea. Careful and everything will be fine.

regazzz You'll get people who don't take apart 10 laptops a day copying your penknife approach, carving up the plastic along the edge, that's all I'm saying. I'm sure you're highly skilled at this, and you do it without a fault, but most people aren't. Perhaps add an annotation to this video to save some folks the frustration :)
