@@shanty2782 No, as Shaoji said in HSR patch live 2.1, you don't have to be serious if you've never been a Hi3 player before. I think he might have given Acheron story where you can understand it easily. In the video there are various Easter eggs as a surprise for Hi3 players but they won't affect the story (just reference), of course, so don't worry. But if you want to know Lore more about Honkai Universe (HSR is part of this whole Honkai universe), reading or playing the Hi3 story is also an option too, if you don't have a time for playing Hi3 (because story is so fucking long and you might boring about chapters 1-9 because it is old game but it will be more better after chapter 9+), I recommend you to Homu Labs Channel. He is veteran hi3 player who understand the lore about honkai universe

@shanty2782 I mean, not really, parallels with hi3 are just insane, so you probably would be a little less confused if you played hi3, but it's not actually hi3 lore, it's hsr`s take on some of the elements of it, so you shouldn't have problems with understanding it

This also looks like a „What if“ story of world where Mei didnt have Kiana. At first she wields the 3rd blade „Howl“ where you can draw the parallel to HoT. Later she wields the blade of „Origin“, a parallel to Herrscher of Origin. So far Kiana always becomes „End“ or Finality. Because in this story she isnt, „Origin“ slays „End“ and goes down depression lane

It appears no one could wield " End " without getting corrupted, so I am assuming the last wielder of " End " or the blade itself became corrupted and causing all the chaos we seen in the trailer, so Archeon have to destroy it with her " origin ", but that's still not enough to end what caused all this....IX, so she sacrificed her Oni power and imbue it on her blase..." nothingness " in order to defeat IX which eventually failed as her world was consumed by it, people say she is the emanator of nihility, but I doubt it, she wants to kill IX and to do so she became like IX itself ( In my opinion ).

Now it all comes together, it's PE 2.0 plot, but the difference is that instead of "Elysia", the role of "Herrscher of Origin" is taken by "Mei" (Acheron) It's still a theory, but I think that's why she quoted Sakura's words which is very similar to what Sakura said to Mei in HI3rd in the ER arc, Because in this version of events, they were HER companions... Or maybe not, who knows Maybe they're both part of the plot But on top of that... KEVIN!!!! HIS EN VOICE IS GOOD!!!

If you watch it again and again, you will see Mei (Acheron) was the wielder of the Thunder sword, with her friends (Flame chasers?) But then, they all turn into oni except for her, after the 12 swords broke. (Kevin) might be the wielder of flame sword, and became oni (corrupted). 12 swords became 2. Mei for Origin, Kevin for End.

The way i understood is that the people of Izumo thought this was like what happened in Honkai Impact 3rd where "Finality" was running an experiment with a specific condition for humanity to fulfil. Hence the whole: you need the End (Finality). However after all blades shattered, the "Kevin" voice asks again: Do you remember why you are forging these blades? Acheron replies: Because of a lie. "An END that never existed." To rephrase this: Because of a lie. A FINALITY that never existed. This was the moment Acheron realized that it wasn't Finality that was running this experiment. It was Nihility. And they never had any condition for victory unlike on planet earth. It was just suffering for the sake of suffering. In other words: Pure Nihilism.

In the end "Acheron" and her world were devoured by the "Black Sun", presumably this "Black Sun" that they refer as "their" or "they" is most likely IX the Aeon of Nihility. Damm even the herrscher references were devoured by IX.

In the data bank it clearly stated that Aeon are the strongest being in the entire imaginary tree and the second strongest is that IPC owner guy who control milions of worlds(probably an emanator) Also i think the herschers are more like what they call the arbibitors(beings that are mistakenly viewed as god in their worlds and have the ability to reset their worlds, herschers of finality for example)

@@aorie920 What's also interesting is that even though Herrschers are way weaker, power-wise, they are also capable of very much tapping into the imaginary tree and basically altering the course of many lives, even interferring with time and space itself- although in exchange for a very heavy price. This was evident with Otto becoming the Herrscher of Binding while making deals with the Honkai Gestalt that is said to reside in the imaginary tree. So what I'm meaning to say is that Aeons are just oversized, glorified Herrschers. Lol

If I recall correctly the guy you mention is none other than Louis Fleming one of the founders of the IPC. Yeah some Aeons are literally a storm that cannot be stopped. IX and Ouroboros are the void themselves stopping them is pointless in the end, I mean how do we even defeat Black Holes in general LMAO

@Gesfalthe Nah. Herrscher of Finality/End is stronger than Aeons. Its level of authority over the Imaginary Tree is much higher. Aeons are 4D-5D beings at max, while Finality was stated to transcend all dimensions and exits beyond time and space. Aeons are only stronger than the common Herrscher. Once you get into Origin, Truth, and Finality, that changes. Hi3 has much higher scaling overall via dimensionality and even cosmology due to the SoQ and beings like SA. The common Herrscher was stated to be able to surface wipe planets in part 1.5 chapter 38, and Sirin in her prime was stated to have energy equalvilent to a Solarsystem in the Durandal VN. Finality is stronger than both. Not to mention that Kiana shot 1% of her Herrscher authority across the Solarsystem faster than light and it was stated by Fu Hua that this shot was able to destroy a planet. So it all depends of which Herrscher or character you put up against an Aeon. Hi3 Verse is actually higher in scaling than HSR, it's just that HSR visits more worlds and is more about raw power than it is hax and such.

I kinda picked up on it after a number of watches but not sure if I'm just looking into it too deep... but here is what I found. - the Kami in the truth is a reference of the beast Bronya fought in the sea of Quanta (note the absence of the head/face). - the Kami in Howl seems to reference Bella/Kurikara

The blades refer to HI3rd herrschers. Spoilers for everyone who didnt get the HI3rd references: There are 14 god-like beings in HI3rd called herrschers each with control over a concept, each meant as an agent of the honkai to destroy humanity, but after a certain special event, some ended up defecting and helping humanity instead. The swords' names and abilities here refer to them and their concepts/ authorities: Truth = herrscher of reason/ Truth (Welt Joyce and Welt Yang [reason], Bronya Zaychik [truth]) Sky = Herrscher of the Void (sirin/ Kiana Kaslana) Howling = Herrscher of Thunder (raiden mei) Mist = Herrscher of wind (wendy) Frost = Herrscher of Ice (ana schariac) Fate= herrscher of death/ rebirth (seele Vollerei) Flare = herrscher of flame/ flamescion (kiana kaslana) Thought= herrscher of sentience (senti) Root = herrscher of the star/ rock (owl) Form = herrscher of domination (1001 individuals forming a hive mind) Bind = herrscher of binding (otto apocalypse? It's the "World Saving" Kevin and Doctor Mei in HI3, here is "World Saving" Mei and Doctor Kevin, and without Elysia, Mei becomes the Hercher of Human (shown in Chinese CC), but all was erased by IX😎

So it is Dr.MEI becoming Mantis and Kevin becoming Project Stigmata Kevin of the Finality. So no Elysia and Kiana to save the day. Thought - does not look like they could change anything, because planets were orbiting around IX, so does not matter if humans or honaki win - IX would erase them all eventually. So Mei became Self-annihilator to destroy IX.

Shit man, when this version of Mei made her broken long sword, created a newer form for it in a red hue out of thin air out of the blue reminds me how Mei's ancestor of a female Houkushin Mei with Fu Hua in GGZ did the same thing when fighting along with Kallen Kaslana and Otto Apocalypse. start and end both crash leaving nothingness , for finality time flow back ward but for acheron she exist in outside of time. able to wield her power from strongest time as she wish for, she is able to regain memory from all timeline, once she drew her blade time stand still for all is lost including the concept of time it self. nothing exist touch sound nothing. that is why once she drew her blade every thing is over the next sec you saw her. ya sound pretty cool.

Everyone: OMG HI3rd references Herrscher this that bla bla bla Me: Oh. They deliberately chose the word "Truth" -> Makoto, in Japanese, instead of "Reason". So in this sense, Welt Yang isn't on the Herrscher cycle (despite we knowing that this is the same Welt from Hi3rd manga HI3rd-verse) instead they just put in Bronya directly as 1st. And obviously the concept of Takamagahara (Plane of Heavenly Abode) don't exist in Hi3rd main story. We use "previous civilization" instead.

If I am to judge, considering that Acheron can't retain much of her memory, and the theme of her alter form, as well as the whole Emanator of Nihility crack, to me it feels like this is a timeline where the Mei expy is the Herrscher of Finality, instead. and nah there's no Kiana at all (which was prob the main issue that ultimately caused Izumo's destruction). Instead there's only Kevin. Which means yeah this pv is a scam. It's inaccurate in the sense that it is potrayed from how Acheron had seen it, but might not be reality, instead. and in that in the end, it was the forging of the 15th blade "Life", which is equated to "Naught" -> Nihility here, that allowed Acheron to survive, but at what cost.

and that explains why Black Swan was unable to delve into Acheron's past at all. The truth of the past becomes whatever Acheron could confirm, and she couldn't confirm much (she couldn't even confirm where the hotel lobby is). By concept, Acheron is everything that is the exact reverse to how the Aeon of Remembrance would work.

The story here is distorted though as instead of Finality there was nothing at the end i guess that's what would happen in a world without a Kiana. An End that never existed. Interesting take.

The moral of this story is, everything they did was meaningless. There were 2 planets at war, fighting for it's survival. These 2 planets didn't orbit a sun, but a black hole. This meant that no matter who won, in the end it was meaningless. The fate of the planet was to be swallowed up by the black hole. So it lost its meaning, similair to how nihility means that there is no meaning. This is what made Acheron the emanator of Nihility. By learning the truth of the world, all those warriors who lost their lives in the creation of the 12 blades, the 2 new ones forged from them. All of it was meaningless, and thus the final blade Acheron currently wields "Naught" being an innuendo for Nihility, is what makes her an emenator

12 swords - 12 Herrshers 0th Herrsher of Origin/Human The last/final Herrsher of Finality And if you got the blessing of Origin and Finality you will become GOD - the last sword after Origin and Finality broke So yes, the Total of 15 swords - 15 Herrshers makes sense Also this arrangement of the swords is based on the Previous era, since Will Of Honkai (Prometheus) tampered with the current era's herrsher cycle
