Such a beautiful story with a powerful message. It made me realise that I've been trying to chase happiness, joy and excitement everywhere...except where it matters. I will never feel complete or whole until I stop searching for what I don't have (or think I want) and start focusing on what God has already blessed me with.

Wow what a very beautiful movie, i even cried. I havent seen a movie like this anymore. No foul language, no sex, no nudity, no drugs...just love. Wow pls make more movies like this. I love the story...simple yet very touching. Perfect 10. Mwah.

I thought meanwhile watching the movie that she would join the amish again and live their strict lifestyle , but the end is incredibly glamorous because faith and loyalty and these kinds of religious traits aren't measured by following unreasonable and irrational principles , it is located in the heart how pure you are , that was a nice and different movie , no explicit scenes or dirty language , keep making these marvelous movies

I just watched a movie called "plus one at an Amish wedding"... LOVE it! This was one of the recommendation after the movie ended.. and to my surprise I saw the same actress! Then the same actor! 😃 The roles are reversed in this one, but I am now fully invested lol! Bet this one is going to be just as good!😊

I love this movie. If you enjoyed this, you might also want to watch 'Plus one at an amish wedding', with the same lead actors, some scenes are even the same. Its also a wholesome, uplifting and inspiring movie. I highly recommend both.

The story telling is a bit clunky. I wished we would have seen that Isaac was having his moment flirting with the English world's ideas. Also the sister: I get that she is mad and frustrated and hurt, but she is just being a bitch. I don't know the Amish tradition at all but I can understand that they have their ways and want to protect them, but being a dush seems to be somewhat against fundamental church ideas. I came back 3 times to see how the story continued. The characters are so ignorant at times that I couldn't take it. Home is home and family is family, no matter how long you haven't seen each other or been gone. Sorry, this is just too much for me. Also, the end just comes in a sudden. Same like Isaac being mad at Kathy. I get that the old dude is winding Isaac up in th game of checkers, but there is no buildup on screen. I really would enjoy these movies much more if the story telling would be a bit more "flowing".

Awesome incredible uplifting and brings a beautiful measure of purity and a glimpse into an eternity that awaits those who choose eternal freedom. There is a wholesome and nebulous atmosphere that is tantalizing and allows for a transformation that is permeated by the infilling of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, None but He could have molded together the tapestry that sets this movie apart from that which does not arise out of the heart and Spirit of our Creator and Lord.

Honestly, this movie got me thinking seriously about life and the pursuit of happiness which will all desires. I now wonder which is better, a simple serene life in a secluded place or one surrounded by the best technology can offer in a big noisy city.

I came in at around fifty minutes, after opening scenes which seemed clichéd & stereotyped, and then to this Amish man who seems not at all serene; he's calm all right and doesn't talk loudly, but he seem judgemental.
