To Patrick Pafarnis.....you know if you like music or not, if the vid is out of sinc doesn't matter, Ackerman was and will always be the master, spoken from a 60year old still trying to play like him, never gonna get there x

Hi Martin if ya wanna play like Acker ya need to remove part of your middle finger on your left hand and have your two front teeth removed?? Apart from Sandy Brown (RIP), notwithstanding the obvious stylistic differences? There wasn't anybody who came close to Acker on the UK trad scene at the time . And there still ain't. He was a one off who came out of George Lewis but who made it sound fresh and like he owned it. I'd left the UK long before this concert was recorded and I haven't seen this vid before. I'm quiet amazed at how "modern" it sounds. I think the tune before "Spanish Harlem " was "Blues Walk" recorded by Clifford Brown and I remember Acker put an album out in the early 80s that had the Freddy Hubbard tune "Gospel Truth" on it. So somebody in the band was listening to the "new" sounds? I remember the flack he used to get for being successful (selling out commercialism) finally guys are acknowledging just what a good player he was. RIP mate..dk

music not synchronizet with video, terrible, but music very nice

Nice music, nice artists, thank you, but not synchronized, horribly. Better don't show the video, only the sound!
