Pressure and reflections are the two main issues to address. Start with unwanted modal pressure management first and then work your way through reflection treatment.

You cannot escape room modes by moving your speakers or listening position, but you can spend 50,000 to 300,000 $ or so in room treatment... :)

The cost is determined by the resolution goal. The higher the resolution goal, the greater the cost.

No, but you CAN change the intensity of those modes on your listening experience by optimum placement of your speakers and listening position.
