I think it is just Wonderful that they have a boutique at Disney World! That is fab. Yes Ben that Oud and the Fico di Amalfi are pretty wonderful too. They loaded me down with samples when I got my bottle of Colonia Essenza so I am still exploring the line. LOVE IT!

I agree a parfume would be perfect I purchased 180m from Debenhams on Sunday. Tested it first makes me happy to wear it. But wish it would last a bit longer.

Speaking of Italy, I cant help but wonder if there is a good Olive Oil fragrance out there that doesn't cost a fortune and a half.... Hey Lanier ... Do you own any ?

I have no olive oil fragrance. In fact I have never heard of that note but I am going to look for it now Ken. I have to say that they drive very fast in Italy on the highways. There are white crescents painted on the side of the road and depending on how many you can see is how fast you can go by a factor of 10. so 9 crescents...90 mph. (Well... Kilometers that is.) I hope you will at least get a sample of this one and try it out. Let me know how it goes.

I just noticed that this is a Eau de Cologne like the Jo Malones. Is it very light and short lived ? These greater than $100 price tags for colognes leave me scratching my head a bit ..... This and the Jo Malones. It can be worth it but they need to be close to the greatest colognes ever.

Ken this one is very strong in the opening and stays that way for about two hours then moved in closer to the skin. It last on me for 8-9 hours and people notice it all through the life of the fragrance. My suggestion is to get a sample and wear it ...see how it goes on your skin.

You are so awesome that Im just going to appoint you as an honorary Texas Cowboy. And recognize you as California Ambassador to Texas Plenipotentiary Olfacere. You are now allowed to wear a Sombrero like me and encouraged to give up the evil buckaroo ways of the flat hat. Belts are good and suspenders bad. But I will let you keep your riata because even the most ardent poke will admit that the buckaroos make good ropes and Will Rogers removed the riata from outlaw status. You are now officially allowed to ride a Criollo, wear chaps, and sit at the Opera house and laugh and point when Buckaroos get end swapped and served a dirt sandwich long before they earn 8 seconds of respect. And you don't even have to ride drag if theres a Buckaroo playing the dude. Remember to never go for the hooey when a better knot will do, watch out for your pardners, never bushwhack or let someone be bushwhacked if you can help it, and to only pull your peacemaker when all else has failed. If you are going to wear Cowboy spurs then don't squat with them on though its a mistake only dudes make and but once. And remember Will Rogers advice to greenhorns, "There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence." I know exactly what you mean. And Acqua di Parma is a winning house for me. And not only because people like Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn loved it (I am shallow that way) but because of the wonderful history, the care and love in each creation and the fact that you mentioned as well, quality for the price. I have to say, yes your nose (taste) will change...it is an ever evolving organ. LOL Cheers!

Thanks svtang03. For a cologne it lasts a surprisingly long time. Eight hours on my skin. I got lots of complements too. The sillage is very strong the first hour about three feet out. Then it calms way down and sticks close to home..inviting people to cozy up for a sniff or two.

I have walked past the Acqua di Parma bottles for years and every time I did I thought "I want to try these". I am so happy I finally stopped and smelled the Acqua! Do yourself a favor and go smell them.
