These nails are so lush 😍 I've been practicing my nails for about a month now and the more i practice the better I get but it most definitely was not easy so on that note I just want to say to anyone whos starting their nails, don't stop persevering, be patient with yourself and keep practicing. You can't get better at something if you don't do it to begin with!!!! You got this sis!!!!

lil tip, when reshaping the nails after the acrylic is applied don't file diagonal it can cause lifting.

I just ordered all the stuff I need to do full sets of acrylic nails on myself. I've done them before but never did full research and so the nails kept popping off after a few days. this time I ordered Young Nails protein bond, as well as EMA acrylic (decided to go with Mia Secret) I also spent almost $20 on an acrylic brush bc I didn't want to go with anything too cheap. everything else needed to do nails I got as cheap of stuff as possible, my nail drill is only $10 😅😂 but hey we all have to start somewhere. I'm excited to start practicing again

Chynaa Ann , it depends on what your trying to learn first (acrylic, gel , or regular nails) . Once you figure that out, go buy the basic essentials and learn how to do the basics without the nail art. When you have gotten the basics of it, you can start playing around with nail art and your creativity.

Chyna Ann.. No 8 oval brush or square..for Acrylic make sure when applying dont apply thick and up against cuticle or you'll get lifting in a day or so..had to redo all of mine..lol..but two weeks later they look great! Now the challenge of doing the refill! 😀

Chyna Ann I learned when you put your first bead down put in the middle it will naturally spread to the cuticle area..hold fingers downward while applying. I use the no odor monomer and it takes longer to dry but it's nice to work with..

the reason is because it depends on the temperature of the room if the room is more hot/warm it dries faster prefer to be in a luke warm room or cold

Shayla Re'ann u want to make sure that ur bead isn’t runny. and also it shouldn’t be super dry, it should be “spreadable” if that helps.

You should try for a buttery consistency. You can play around with it and decide how you like it personally. It also changes depending on the brand.

No, it’s called acetone you use it to remove acrylic that gets on your cuticle and in general.

i do acrylics on my own nails and i can "pop" them off with a bit of prying with my teeth. i am prepping them properly as far as i know.I i take off the shine, use dehydrator and primer ) . what could be causing that? i don't want my clients nails to pop off so easily once i open my shop. any suggestions?

It could be because you’re not prepping the cuticle area properly so all the dry skin left around the cuticle will cause the product to lift since it’s not adhered to the nail plate

if you don’t use clear acrylic nails i definitely recommend. makes a big difference. i used to have that problem and if you use white tips i’ve found it to not stick that well. use a good amount. or look into purchasing different glue.
