I don't know why they do this trope where, using this this clip as an example, they get an ex hitman to assassinate a target, but they can't do their one sole purpose and makes you wonder whether they're actually a hitman. Just gives away that the movie or series is going to have a frustrating level of plot armour.

@@NowLedgeOutpost agreed. The car knocks him over and the idiot with the handgun doesn't shoot him where he lied on the floor? What?? Also, the Jeep hits... Nothing? And the airbags go off? And the engine is clearly off after the "impact", yet she gets it into gear and floors it and it works.. sure. Also, why doesn't the seatbelt come off when pressed? It's literally designed to be able to be unlocked when pressed regardless of how much force is being put on the seatbelt. Just BS after BS in this clip.

I mean people fail. Or it highlights the main characters are better than the average target. Lots of professionals go through failures. The cost for failure for a hitman could mean their life.

@@alterego984 it's literally a 5 speed manual. She goes 2 gear slots over and down into the 6th slot which is reverse.

Why tf are you going to use a manual if you’re just going to forget how a clutch works. Even if it was an automatic you’d still need to tap the breaks to put into reverse. Lazy writing
