Great video! If I have several locations saved, can I delete just one of them? My Carrara White Metallic 2022 RWD with adaptive air suspension is being prepped at the dealer and will be ready for me to take possession soon! 🤩

Great info thanks....how about home link? I programmed the location but But having trouble assigning the diamond key ! Any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks Javid! Great idea! Homelink is tough! The diamond key on the steering wheel? Have you held it down? After holding down for several seconds it should then promote you in the PCM to save it to which function you'd like! 👍🏼

@@Pcarwhisperer Yes I have , and it shows that is assigned to homelink but nothing happens! It shows up on PCM that homelink is activated but it doesn’t actually open garage door. Thanks for your prompt response you always have very good information. Please Keep it going...

Is there anyway to get Smart Lift to recognize a larger area rather than a small, specific location? This would be helpful for areas with many dips or speed bumps where it would be impractical to set Speed Lift for each abrupt elevation change.

Save multiple locations within the same area to expand the radius.

Thanks. How fast does it work? Do you need to stop when you are at the spot? Will it return to previous height?

👍🏼 You don't need to stop all the way you can be still moving at a slow speed and it will still prompt to save location. I like to come almost to a stop to give the car a bit more time to raise and save that exact location for greater accuracy of the location. After driving above 20 mph the car will lower back into normal unless you press the lift key again to lower it!

How long does it stay lifted? Is it a timed thing or just once you hit over 20 mph then it lowers?

Emily that is a great question. I believe it will stay lifted until you reach 20mph then it will lower again or if you press the button to lower it. But let me confirm if the operation is different when smart lift locations are saved 🤔

So, Porsche was able to program "Smart Lift" in the Taycan,...but didn't have concern about allowing an owner to save other settings they setup in the Taycan!

I just picked up a 2022 Taycan 4S in Canada and I don’t see the smart lift option in settings/vehicle. Any ideas?

Congrats on the new Taycan 4S! What color? Press the lift button on the right side of the instrument cluster. It should then prompt you in the PCM screen to save the location?

@@Pcarwhisperer Frozen Blue. It does prompt me, but I thought there is a menu item also in settings/vehicle.
