Hi Richard, I just did this lesson myself but you took it to another level, excellent playing and I noticed you put some of your own licks in there too. You could definitely give Brian a go for the money.

Thanks Douglas! This one is a workout for sure. But one of Brian’s classic standalone pieces. Rock on! 🤘🎸🤘

Nice ! What make is the Strat ?
@richardwmusic6 ай бұрын
Thanks Thomas! That is a K-Line Strat. It’s a custom made guitar from Chris Kroenlein in St. Louis. Amazing guitar. I have one of his teles also. IMHO, at least as good as Fender Custom Shop for less $$$!

Very beautiful Is it possible to get the tab please?
@richardwmusic Жыл бұрын
Hi Pierre! This is a composition from Brian over at ActiveMelody.com. You can get the tab by becoming a member over there. Well worth it IMHO, especially if you like this style of solo blues guitar pieces. He has many in that style.

TBH I would feel a bit funny doing a lesson on this, since the composition is from the ActiveMelody site. And Brian over there offers great lessons already 😀

Nicely done, great tone, what's your set up, are you via an amp or straight in to PC etc?
@richardwmusic Жыл бұрын
Thanks Steve! I’m going through a Helix straight into GarageBand on my Mac. Using their Fender Princeton amp sim with some reverb and just a touch of overdrive.
@caniwim12 Жыл бұрын
@@richardwmusic I just moved to Mac not so long ago and need to find sometime to learn how to use GarageBand! Thanks!

I like it. Would be nice to see a tutorial that breaks it down a bit, maybe simplified. Great departure from the same old 12 bar patterns.

Thanks Mr. B! If you haven’t, be sure to check out the ActiveMelody KZfaq video on this piece. But yeah especially in the second half with some of the chord walk ups, it gets a little trickier
