I just recently saw the video of Dad and son... Showed it to my mom and she said "That is you with all children!" I didn't know that there was an actual name for it! Both my children were raised having" long" conversations with me! Same with my grandchildren and now our neighbors son... We interact just like that. I guess sometimes you feel you should of could of done more for your child at times... Nice to know that what I have always done isn't "crazy" thank you for information and video!

I guess I naturally do this, on my channel. I take complicated issues break them down (some say I'm funny, i'm not trying to be) and get people saying "oooooooooh i learned something". feels good.

As a young child, even before I went to kindergarten, when my Mom dressed us kids in the morning, she would start saying the alphabet, then pretend to stumble, and I remember correcting her on the next letter. Then she would ask me to say the ABC's with her, frontwards and backwards. Before my schooling began I could read and write (name, address, telephone #, the works) count to a hundred (frontwards and backwards). And my Mom was always so patient with us. She had a stroke six years ago, and to engage her during her downward spirals I would start counting, or reciting the alphabet and she would join in. She did not survive in the end, but those final weeks reminded me of what an awesome mother she was.

Pryor is such an amazing father. He spent time with his son talking, doing things together is a good parenting. He is also a good comedian. But his parenting skills is something that parents should get from him. Now a days parents put their careers as priority and children less priority. That is why we face many challenges on children and youth who missed oit from good parenting from their parents. It is good to learn very important lessons of parenting from Pryor's programs.
