Parvathy tries for a straight answer, gets stuck and then dodges the question. A small blemish in an otherwise straight spoken interview. People, especially actors often give sugar coated pleasant statements as answer to most questions in such interviews. We don't get a real insight intro their personality, they just offer an artificial likeable persona on a pedestal, and we know it. It was different with Parvathy. No doubt she is intellectually robust.

Viewing women not as individuals is the problem. For example in the movie Kasaba the controversial scene is criticized on the basis that it is anti-women, when in reality it is just a hero dominating the villian. There have been countless movies where male heroes dominate or threatened to kill male villians. But when a male gets dominated by another male hero we don't say it's anti-male. Because we recognize men as individuals. We should reject this idea of group identity to women. Recoganizing women as a group is an ideological position of the feminists to control artistic freedoms of the movie makers and society in general. I don't think women are a group. I don't think every woman think like Parvathy or feminists. We should not allow feminists to censor movies. Movies can show a wide variety of emotions and situations. Not the only ones the feminists think is okay.

Context is important. When the hero of the movie insults another person by virtue of her gender, and that action is justified to glorify his heroism, that’s where it goes wrong. We need bad people in our movies because movies are ultimately about conflict. But we don’t need masochistic 50 year old men thrashing women half their age as our heroes
