Much more exciting than my last race at the roval earlier in the week. Qualified P2 and stayed there. Couldn’t keep up with the leader and I ended about 10secs up on the guy in 3rd. Good job Dave! You always post great races. Definitely not my favorite track on the planet, but it happens to be one of my better ones on the service so Here we are.

It is more nerve racking being in the lead than being in 2nd going after the lead. My heart pounds HARD when im leading. Luckily that is rare for me.

The one thing i like about iracing graphics is that they don't tend to be overly dependent on cinematic color grading. That is how you know that the graphics engine is good when the color grading is natural and still the shader looks realistic. Not very heavy with gamma or tints.

What a great race for the top step of the podium. I was on tenterhooks for the last half wondering if Wendell and Robert were going to catch you. The qualifying was even closer than you suspected. It was the top 3 who was really close as you guys were within a little more than 6/100 of a second of each other on the quali lap! The top 6, not the top 3, were within a little more than 1/2 of a second of each other on the quali lap.

That wall exiting onto the oval is probably the deadliest wall in iRacing. Light touch = broken.

Great win Dave. Always enjoy watching your consistant driving style. Also, Wendel is a German name derived from the name Wendell, meaning "wanderer". It's pronounced as you suggested, with a V instead of a W.

I really enjoy this track with GT3 and hate it at the same time. It flows so well in the infield then the first chicane just kills all your enjoyment.

The roval is one of those tracks that for some reason I have crazy pace. I have so many wins here in all different type of cars. So weird how just like real life your driving style makes you better or worse at different places

I have tried a variety of screen sizes including 32's. I find that 27 is the sweet spot 👍

Get in there Dave! Good race, very good consistency, but I think that nerves management made all the difference at the end. I won 3 races at this track this week! 3rd split, ok, but this means a lot to me since I’m back to iracing a couples weeks ago. Idk if there was some change from season 2 to season 3 but now I feel like gt3’s are much more stable (I have Lambo and Ferrari), is it true? Best of luck mate. Seems past couple weeks there has been an increase in absolute terrible drivers. I don’t get it. iRacing needs to maybe relook at penalty systems. Or stronger protest.

Love/Hate this track. Feels like I'm racing on butter. Others have ruined my race and I've ruined others. This track depresses me almost as much as Long Beach did.. Edit: I drive the Ford, so that adds to te frustration.
